    Abstract: According to an embodiment of the invention, a customized wheelchair comprises a frame, a plurality of wheels, and a pair of adjustable armrests. The armrests are coupled to the frame. At least a first armrest of the pair of adjustable armrests comprises a horizontal tubular section that is adapted to be (i) maintained at a first predetermined height when placed in a first operating state and (ii) maintained at a second predetermined height higher than the first predetermined height when placed in a second operating state. To customize the wheelchair, an accessory is provided that can be removably coupled to the horizontal tubular section of the first armrest of the pair of adjustable armrests.
