  • Patent number: 11693435
Abstract: In a substrate processing system, such as a chemical mechanical system, updated controller configuration data is obtained for a plurality of liquid flow controllers of the substrate processing system. Each of a plurality of liquid flow controllers (LFCs) coupled to an Ethernet for Control Automation Technology (EtherCAT) bus automatically downloads a copy of the updated controller configuration data through the EtherCAT bus. Each of the plurality of liquid flow controllers controls fluid flow of a separate fluid line from a plurality of fluid lines in the substrate processing system, fluid flow through the plurality of fluid lines is controlled using the plurality of liquid flow controllers having the updated controller configuration data.

  • Publication number: 20220019011
Abstract: An alkali metal vapor enclosure comprising: an internal surface comprising nanostructures; a transmissive portion to enable the internal surface to be illuminated; wherein the enclosure contains atoms of an alkali metal which are in a vapor state and/or adsorbed onto the internal surface; and wherein illumination of the internal surface via the transmissive portion with light having a frequency to cause a temperature rise in the nanostructures by exciting an enhanced optical extinction mechanism in the nanostructures, causes an increase in the density of the alkali metal vapor.

  • Patent number: 7787503
Abstract: The light includes a laser (4), which operates at or near its fundamental wavelength and produces pulses of a duration longer than 0.5 ns, and a micro-structured optical fibre (9) arranged to guide the pulses, wherein the light is generated by the pulses in the fibre (9). The light source may e.g. be useful in applications such as spectral testing of fibre components and spectral analysis of chemical and biological samples.

  • Patent number: 6981684
Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a metal post while it is being driven into the ground utilizes a platen base and a guide member which is rotatably joined to the base for holding the post in a steady condition while the post is being driven into the ground. Because the guide member is rotatably joined to the base member, the rotational position of a post positioned within the guide member can be significantly altered with respect to the base.

  • Patent number: 6719261
Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a metal post while it is being driven into the ground utilizes a platen base and a guide member which is joined to the base for holding the post in a steady condition while the post is being driven into the ground. The post is insertable endwise into the guide member and is engageable with the ground through a through-opening defined in the base. As a user stands upon or beside the base with his feet positioned on opposite sides of the through-opening, both of his hands are free to use a driver to drive the post into the ground. Therefore, this apparatus allows an individual to drive a post into the ground without the aid of another individual.

  • Patent number: 4589240
Abstract: A door panel having an insulating foam core and a pair of rigid inner and outer skins preferably formed of steel or other metal. The skins have side flanges with hook portions that mechanically interlock. The interlocking flanges provide a method of mechanically attaching the inner and outer skins of the panel to each other by utilizing the compression and spring back of the core during assembly. A resilient thermal barrier element is interposed between the interlocking flanges to prevent them from making direct contact with each other while at the same time sealing the joint, the thermal barrier element also including a cushioning bead engagable with a similar bead of another door panel to provide a weather seal therebetween. The method of making the panel is also disclosed.
