  • Publication number: 20190195698
Abstract: A liquid in glass variable angle thermometer tube includes a bulb containing a volume of liquid with a known coefficient of thermal expansion and having a sensing portion for sensing temperature, a glass capillary column for reading the height of the liquid therein, and a flexible metal capillary connecting the sensing portion to the glass capillary column. The flexible metal capillary is in fluid communication with the sensing portion and the glass capillary column such that the liquid in the bulb is permitted to transfer from the sensing portion to the glass capillary column. The bulb is connected directly to the flexible metal capillary and includes an extension portion that is separate from the volume of liquid and the extension portion supports the bulb remote to the temperature sensing volume.

  • Publication number: 20190158610
Abstract: Various embodiments relate generally to data science and data analysis, computer software and systems, and control systems to provide a platform to facilitate implementation of an interface, and, more specifically, to a computing and data storage platform that implements specialized logic to predict an action based on content in electronic messages, at least one action being a responsive electronic message. In some examples, a method may include receiving data representing an electronic message with an electronic messaging account, identifying one or more component characteristics associated with one or more components of the electronic message, characterizing the electronic message based on the one or more component characteristics to classify the electronic message for a response as a classified message, causing a computing device to perform an action to facilitate the response to the classified message, and the like.

  • Patent number: 10124881
Abstract: A load introduction element for a movable surface of an aircraft comprises a load introduction body that is connectable with the surface. A fitting connected with the load introduction body with a first section and a second section. The first section comprises a first bearing means, the second section comprises a second bearing means, and the first or second section comprises a third bearing means. The fitting is pivotally connected with the load introduction body by way of the first bearing means. An adjustment unit connects the second bearing means with the load introduction body in a variable position and is positioned on a side of the load introduction body that is opposite the fitting. In this manner adjustment of a reference position of a surface takes place without the need for an access flap. By loosening the adjustment unit the movable surface is pivotable without moving a flap drive.

  • Publication number: 20180279413
Abstract: A safety circuit to disrupt power to a heating element of an appliance to be powered through a solid state switch (Tri-ac, Q1), typically a triac, from an AC power source (V1) having a positive half cycle and a negative half cycle delivering power. A low resistance condition is sensed by detecting either the current through or voltage across the solid state switch during the positive half cycle and the negative half cycle of the AC power line, when the solid state AC switch is not actuated. A fault signal is generated to interrupt power to the heating element, preferably by a crowbar circuit opening a fuse, whenever the low resistance condition is detected.

  • Publication number: 20160059329
Abstract: The circular saw blade includes a blade body having the form of a disc, and a plurality n (n>1) of teeth inserted into the peripheral rim of the blade body so as to be distributed over the circumference of the disc. Each tooth generates a chip derived from the machined material. There is a cut-out for the clearance of the chip being provided in the peripheral rim of the blade body at the level of each tooth, and incorporating a base seat to which the tooth is soldered. For at least one tooth, the cut-out defines a volume for clearance of the chip which is less than the apparent volume of the chip generated by a tooth.
