  • Publication number: 20230156020
Abstract: Disclosed techniques include integrated cybersecurity state change buffer service. A plurality of network-connected cybersecurity threat protection applications is accessed. A background synchronization service is initiated. The background synchronization service receives status from at least one of the plurality of cybersecurity threat protection applications. The status comprises high-volume incoming status data. The status is monitored, using the background synchronization service. A real-time state change in the status is identified, based on the monitoring. The identifying a real-time state change includes quantifying incoming data associated with the status. An actionable response is triggered, based on the state change that was identified. The actionable response enables self-healing of a connected security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) application system. The status is processed, using the background synchronization service, to provide the actionable response.

  • Publication number: 20230009884
Abstract: An authentication request message from a user conducting an interaction at a resource provider computer is received. It is determined that data representing an indication that the resource provider is trusted by the user and including a trusted marker is present in a database. Authentication to the user is provided, and information indicating that the user has been authenticated and the trusted marker are sent so that authorization request message for the interaction that includes the trusted marker is generated. The trusted marker is validated, and the authorization request message including information related to the interaction and the validated trusted marker is sent to an authorizing entity computer.

  • Patent number: 11501274
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for processing payment transactions that are conducted using a mobile device that includes a contactless element, such as an integrated circuit chip. The invention enables the updating, correction or synchronization of transaction data maintained by an Issuer with that stored on the device. This is accomplished by using a wireless (cellular) network as a data communication channel for data provided by an Issuer to the mobile device, and is particularly advantageous in circumstances in which the contactless element is not presently capable of communication with a device reader or point of sale terminal that uses a near field communications mechanism. Data transferred between the mobile device and Issuer may be encrypted and decrypted to provide additional security and protect the data from being accessed by other users or applications.

  • Patent number: 11496481
Abstract: A system and method of establishing a resource provider as a trusted listing are disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a directory server computer, an indication from a user that a resource provider is trusted. The directory server computer is programmed to provide a first level of authentication. The method then includes storing, in a database, data representing the indication from the user that the resource provider is trusted. The method then includes receiving an authentication request message from the user conducting an interaction at the resource provider computer and determining that the data representing the indication from the user that the resource provider is trusted is present. In response to determining, the method includes providing a second level of authentication to the user before the user is allowed to complete the interaction. The second level of authentication is lower than the first level.

  • Patent number: 11461760
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for performing transactions through mobile communication devices using either telecommunications networks or proximity near-field communications systems are disclosed. A mobile communication device may display an application authentication element. The application authentication element may include a pre-selected authentication element and transaction data associated with a transaction conducted by a mobile communication device. The mobile communication device may obtain the pre-selected authentication element by either transmitting a request to a server computer or retrieving the pre-selected authentication element from a secure memory in the mobile communication device. A user authentication token may be received by the mobile communication device from the user. The mobile communication device may generate a secret token that is derived from the user authentication token. If the secret token is correlated to a secret reference token, then a transaction may be conducted.

  • Publication number: 20220244775
Abstract: A variable effect activation system includes one or more sensors that generate data. The data can be assessed to determine if the data is indicative of a valid input to an interactive effect. Valid inputs may be assessed based on a lenient or relatively non-stringent threshold to permit a wide variety of guest actions to be considered valid inputs. While many of these guest actions may not be recognized as part of preprogrammed interactions with an interactive environment, the system nonetheless assesses characteristics of these inputs to provide an appropriate response, e.g., via activation of an interactive effect in a manner that aligns with the characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20220101298
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for processing payment transactions that are conducted using a mobile payment device that includes a contactless element, such as an integrated circuit chip. The invention enables one or more of the operations of activation of a payment application, transfer of transaction data, updating of account records, setting or re-setting of a payment application counter or register, or transfer or processing of a script, command, or instruction, with these functions being performed with minimal impact on a consumer. • Patent number: 11268616
Abstract: An envelope gasket features a bonded construction. In one example, a virgin PTFE envelope is bonded to a pair of microcellular or expanded PTFE filler material annular rings. The PTFE filler annular rings are then bonded together around a corrugated metal insert ring (on the inner and outer diameter), thus sealing inside microcellular or expanded PTFE. Alternatively, when using expanded graphite filler material annular rings, the PTFE envelope is bonded to the expanded graphite filler rings by pressure and heat, and the filler rings are bonded to each other by pressure during the bonding process.

  • Patent number: 11261910
Abstract: A precision linear bearing is designed to minimize the points of contact, rolling and rubbing, to reduce particulates and FOD while ensuring stability and accuracy in a manner suitable for a clean room environment. The linear bearing comprises at least first and second bearing layers within a one-piece housing. Each bearing layer comprises at least three roller bearing spaced around the axial bore in a first plane within the housing, each roller bearing having an axis of rotation substantially perpendicular to the axial bore and projecting into said axial bore for engagement of a linear member extending through the axial bore. Each roller bearing suitably engages the linear member at a single point of contact. The layers are rotationally offset from one another such that the roller bearings contact different positions around the circumference of the linear member. The linear bearing may be configured to engage the inner surface of a cylindrical member.

  • Patent number: 11238437
Abstract: A portable consumer device may have money stored therein, which can be calculated using an accumulator record and an exception record. The accumulator record can be incremented by the amount of any initiated transaction using the portable consumer device. The exception record can be incremented by the amount of any completed transaction using the portable consumer device. The portable consumer device may also have a limit amount, to record the amount of money added. The records allow for a later reconstruction of the device history, and can account for any errors or problems during transactions.

  • Publication number: 20210320922
Abstract: A method and system for provisioning credentials is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a token provider computer, a token request message from a token requestor computer that comprises an initial access identifier. The token provider computer transmits the initial access identifier to a first authorization computer, and then the token provider computer receives an intermediate access identifier. The token provider computer then transmits a token activation request message to a second authorization computer based at least in part on the intermediate access identifier. The token provider computer then receives a token activation response message from the second authorization computer. The token provider computer then provides the token to the token requestor computer.
