  • Patent number: 10847009
Abstract: A monitoring system that is configured to monitor a property is disclosed. The monitoring system includes a thermal camera that is configured to generate a thermal image of the property. The monitoring system further includes a monitor control unit that is configured to receive, from the thermal camera, the thermal image. The monitor control unit is further configured to, based on the thermal image, determine a temperature of a portion of the property depicted in the thermal image. The monitor control unit is further configured to determine that the temperature of the portion of the property depicted in the thermal image satisfies a temperature threshold. The monitor control unit is further configured to, based on determining that the temperature of the portion of the property depicted in the thermal image satisfies the temperature threshold, select and perform a monitoring system action.

  • Publication number: 20200341457
Abstract: A monitoring system that is configured to monitor a property is disclosed. The monitoring system includes a sensor that is configured to generate sensor data that indicates an attribute of the property; a floor sensor that is configured to generate floor sensor data that indicates an amount of pressure applied to a portion of a floor of the property; and a monitor control unit. The monitor control unit is configured to receive, from the sensor, the sensor data; receive, from the floor sensor, the floor sensor data; analyze the sensor data and the floor sensor data; and based on analyzing the sensor data and the floor sensor data, perform a monitoring system action.

  • Publication number: 20190391227
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for identifying, at a monitoring system, a location of a device panel, the device panel being configured to communicate with a position module of the monitoring system; obtaining, by the position module, location information for a plurality of anchor devices, each anchor device of the plurality of anchor devices being located within a predefined area of a property; determining, by the position module, a respective location of each anchor device within the predefined area based on analysis of the location information for the plurality of anchor devices; and determining, by the position module, a location for a sensor in the predefined area based on the respective location of at least one anchor device.

  • Patent number: 10217305
Abstract: In some implementations, a system can trigger an action to be performed at a property based on satisfaction of criteria related to location information and a connection status of a mobile computing device. Location information of the mobile computing device relative of a pre-defined geographic region including at least a portion of the property is initially obtained. A connection status of the mobile computing device for a short range wireless connection with a communication-enabled device within the property is then obtained. Criteria for an action at the property is then determined to be satisfied by the location information and the connection status of the mobile computing device. The action is finally triggered to be performed at the property in response to determining that criteria for the action is satisfied.
