  • Publication number: 20200172294
Abstract: A product display package includes a product tray configured to hold one or more products. The product tray includes a bottom wall connected to a front wall, to a back wall, to a left side wall, and to a right side wall to form an interior chamber, and a display opening in the product tray provides physical access to the interior chamber such that one or more products may be placed into or removed through the display opening. The product display package includes a barrier label adhered to the product tray such that it overlies the display opening. The barrier label includes a center panel that substantially closes the display opening and forms a physical barrier to restrict physical access to a product in the interior chamber of the product tray.

  • Patent number: 9113712
Abstract: A method of converting a recliner from manual actuation to powered actuation that includes providing a recliner having a frame, a recliner mechanism with a base coupled to the frame and a hinged linkage movably coupled to the base, and a manual actuator that releases the hinged linkage to move under an occupant-applied force. The method also includes disconnecting and removing the manual actuator from the recliner and, without disassembly of the recliner mechanism from the frame, removing a spring assist device extending between the hinged linkage and the base, installing a drive unit to the recliner mechanism, installing a power actuator on the frame with electrical communication to the drive unit, and establishing electrical communication between the drive unit and a source of electrical power, so that activation of the power actuator causes the drive unit to move the hinged linkage under powered actuation.

  • Publication number: 20080182563
Abstract: A method and system that enables subscribers of any mobile network operator to exchange free or premium profiles, content, and services, and to receive (or share with others, such as publishers and developers) revenue resulting from transactions, preferably over a social network. In one embodiment, members of the service create one or more “profiles” that correspond to the member's persona. Preferably, profiles are built using a web browser or directly on a mobile device such as a phone. Typically, a profile comprises one or more pages containing text, images, multimedia, and advertising. In addition, profiles can include “plug-in” services developed by third parties. Members may send their profiles to other members or non-members. Similarly, anyone with a mobile phone can request the profile of a member. Multiple social networks may be aggregated on a user's mobile device. The techniques described herein facilitate the fusion of mobile application platforms and mobile social networks.

  • Publication number: 20050044260
Abstract: A system for efficiently downloading a page of broadband content includes a mass storage device, a bandwidth measurement device, a download manager, and a presentation manager. The bandwidth measurement device determines the bandwidth of a network connection over which the content file will be downloaded by the system. The download manager retrieves and stores in the mass storage device a portion of the content file, the size of the portion determined responsive to the bandwidth determination made by the bandwidth measurement device. The presentation manager retrieves the stored portion of the content file from mass storage and displays the portion using a standard media player application.
