  • Patent number: 8870573
Abstract: In order to further facilitate the insertion of the dental implant into the bone, 3 plurality of apex indentations 13 are spacedly formed in the insertion root portion of the dental implant body 10. Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3 of the drawings, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, each apex indentation 13 has a V-shape cross section defining two blade surfaces 131 cutting into the dental implant body 10 from the tip of the first end 11 of the dental implant body 10. At these two blade surfaces 131, the cross section of the asymmetric thread 20 is exposed and the blade edge 23 of the asymmetric thread 20 forms one or more cutting blades 24, wherein the dental implant of the present invention is screwed in the bone, the cutting blades 24 are the first part to cut into the bone. If the bone is hard, some bone will be drilled out by the cutting blade 24 but will be reserved inside the indentations 13. In a preferred embodiment, the dental implant body 10 has a total of three apex indentations 13.

  • Publication number: 20140113252
Abstract: An ankylos attachment (AA) comprising a transitional adapter at coronal end for serving as an impression coping, temporary/permanent attachment. A threaded retentive shank (TRS) comprises a bolt which is designed to insert through the AA into the dental implant. The new design of the AAC is compelling because it can reduce cost, improve patient comfort and reduce clinical chair time/treatment time. In addition, AAC can be utilized to facilitate CAD/CAM technique which can largely shorten the period of fabrication of dental restoration. As a result, the final restoration can be finished and delivered in a couple of hours comparing to six to twelve weeks when the restoration is done in traditional way.

  • Patent number: 8282640
Abstract: The present invention provides an osteotome for sinus lifting and dental ridge expansion which includes an osteotome shank, a trepanelevation tip member, and a head. The trepanelevation tip member provides a cavity at a tip end and a prominence protruded from the bottom of the cavity. In this manner, during dental ridge expansion, the sharp edge of the trepanelevation tip member will secure the position and provide initial splitting of bones of sinus floor. Subsequently, the prominence will provide appropriate pressure for bone lifting. By applying the splitting force and compaction force alternatively in the same tip, the edge and prominence of the osteotome can lift the sinus in a much safer and more effective manner.

  • Publication number: 20120003609
Abstract: A dental implant includes a dental implant body which is a cylinder body having a first end and a second end, an asymmetric thread being provided around the dental implant body, an apex lock being formed at the first end for inserting into a sinus of a desired position, and an endomaximum lock being provided at the second end for integrally connected with an abutment through a bolt. The apex lock is a space indented in the first end for enabling new grown bone of the sinus extending into the apex lock to provide a locking mechanism to ensure integration between the dental implant and the bone. The endomaximum lock has a lock cavity having a lock opening at the second end for receiving a root of the abutment therein.

  • Publication number: 20110262883
Abstract: A dental implant fixture mount-abutment, comprising a fixture mount is a 2 to 4 mm coronal extension/metal collar at a coronal end for serving as an impression coping, temporary/permanent abutment and fixture mount, wherein the internal slots in said coronal end for receiving the fixture mount driver, wherein the driven channel in said coronal end for receiving a ball impression screw, wherein said the fixture mount has two small flat facets, located on opposite sides of the fixture mount, extended between said coronal end and circumferential groove, an abutment which is a taper cylinder body having a shoulder and a circumferential curvature, wherein the shoulder on the abutment portion is a part of the abutment, wherein the circumferential curvature is designed to avoid engaging alveolar bone so as to be easily removed later, wherein said the abutment has two large flat facets, located on opposite sides of the abutment, extended between said circumferential groove and shoulder, providing an anti-rotation fea

  • Publication number: 20110250564
Abstract: A dental implant includes a dental implant body which is a cylinder body having a first end and a second end, an asymmetric thread being provided around the dental implant body, 3 plurality of apex indentations increasing cutting efficiency, an trepanelevation tip being formed at the lowermost end for elevating a maxillary sinus floor, and a hexamaximum lock being provided at the second end for integrally connected with an abutment through a bolt. The trepanelevation tip performs bone expansion with the outer wall, and goes deeper into the sinus to elevate sinus floor. The hexamaximum lock has a lock cavity having a lock opening at the second end for receiving a root of the abutment therein. A ferroembrace is a bevel helps dentist to control esthetics and retention. A cervical slop and cervical steps will help dentist to control the depth of a dental implant to be inserted.
