Publication number: 20250255672Abstract: A method for optimizing a knee arthroplasty surgical procedure includes receiving pre-operative data comprising (i) anatomical measurements of the patient, (ii) soft tissue measurements of the patient's anatomy, and (iii) implant parameters identifying an implant to be used in the knee arthroplasty surgical procedure. An equation set is selected from a plurality of pre-generated equation sets based on the pre-operative data. During the knee arthroplasty surgical procedure, patient-specific kinetic and kinematic response values are generated and displayed using an optimization process. The optimization process includes collecting intraoperative data from one or more surgical tools of a computer-assisted surgical system, and using the intraoperative data and the pre-operative data to solve the equation set, thereby yielding the patient-specific kinetic and kinematic response values. A visualization is then provided of the patient-specific kinetic and kinematic response values on the displays.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 12, 2025Publication date: August 14, 2025Inventors: Brian W. Publication number: 20250258299Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods enabling federated learning of atmospheric models for satellite-based navigation, via crowdsourcing training data. One method includes, causing, at a computing device, a determination of an error metric based on a difference between a set of measured values and a set of expected values. The set of expected values is based on an atmospheric model and a geolocation. The set of measured values is based on a set of satellite signals received at the computing device from a set of satellites. The error metric may be for the atmospheric model. The method further includes causing a transmission of a data structure from the computing device to an atmospheric model service. The transmitted data structure encodes the error metric (e.g., training data). The atmospheric modeling service employs Bayesian inference and the error metric as a conditional probability to refine the atmospheric model.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2022Publication date: August 14, 2025Inventors: Anton Igorevich Geraschenko, Brian Patrick Williams

Publication number: 20250257687Abstract: A gas turbine engine has a turbomachine comprising compressor, combustion, and turbine sections. The gas turbine engine defines a maximum exhaust gas temperature, a maximum drive turbine shaft torque, and a corrected specific power. The gas turbine engine includes a nozzle vane and an engine casing defining a fluid supply plenum. The engine casing is configured to route cooling fluid from the fluid supply plenum to the nozzle vane. The routing of the cooling fluid facilitates cooling of the nozzle vane and increases an overall pressure ratio of the gas turbine engine. Integration of the cooling fluid routing within the engine casing reduces parasitic bleed air losses, enables tighter turbine stage spacing, and improves the thermal efficiency of the engine, thereby enhancing performance at elevated pressure ratios.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 30, 2025Publication date: August 14, 2025Inventors: Daniel Alan Niergarth, Jorge de Luis, Douglas Downey Turner, Michael Macrorie, Keith W.
