    Abstract: A valve assembly for controlling the flow of fluids, particularly corrosive fluids, wherein a valve actuator is sealingly shielded within a bellows assembly from contact with such fluid. A top portion of the bellows assembly is fixedly positioned with respect to the valve body and the actuator contacts a lower plug portion of the bellows assembly which serves to open and close a valve passage upon longitudinal movement of the actuator with respect to the valve body. A flexible pleated portion of the bellows assembly permits extension and contraction thereof in unison with the actuator's movement.
