Patent number: 12204811Abstract: The present disclosure describes a wireless microphone system that allows one or more microphones to wirelessly communicate with a receiver. Additionally, the wireless microphone system may allow for a plurality of microphones to be used interchangeably with the receiver. To ensure communication between the receiver and the one or more microphones, the receiver may occasionally transmit a synchronization signal to the one or more microphones. In response to receiving the synchronization signal, at least one of the one or more microphones may determine that a clock of the at least one microphone is drifting from the master audio clock of the receiver. The at least one microphone may then adjust the microphone's audio clock to re-synchronize the audio clock of the microphone with the master audio clock of the receiver.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2023Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: Shure Acquisition Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Simon John Beavis, Scott Kuhn, Mike Handler, William Kevin Doss, Jack Wong, Christopher Frantisak

Patent number: 12204311Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a novel system and methods for modeling process components using segmental analysis. As opposed to analyzing the entire system at once, each element representing a process component is assigned parameter inputs that enable the system to determine a current state. Changes in the element's parameter inputs are fed in a bi-directional manner to other elements connected by segments where the other elements use the parameter inputs to determine a predictive or current process condition that are used as new parameter inputs for the next element. In some embodiments, the system allows for the prevention of component state change with only a portion of the entire process being solved, as abnormal conditions can be detected without solving for the entire system.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2021Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: Aveva Software, LLCInventor: Scott William Clark

Patent number: 12204906Abstract: Processing circuitry performs data processing operations in response to instructions fetched from a cache or memory or micro-operations decoded from the instructions. Sampling circuitry selects a subset of instructions or micro-operations as sampled operations to be profiled. Profiling circuitry captures, in response to processing of an instruction or micro-operation selected as a sampled operation, a sample record specifying an operation type of the sampled operation and information about behaviour of the sampled operation which is directly attributed to the sampled operation. The profiling circuitry can include, in the sample record for a sampled operation corresponding to a given instruction, a reference instruction address indicator indicative of an address of a reference instruction appearing earlier or later in program order than the given instruction, for which control flow is sequential between any instructions occurring between the reference instruction and the given instruction in program order.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2021Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: Arm LimitedInventors: Michael John Williams, Alasdair Grant, John Michael Horley

Patent number: 12204908Abstract: A branch predictor predicts a first outcome of a first branch in a first block of instructions. Fetch logic fetches instructions for speculative execution along a first path indicated by the first outcome. Information representing a remainder of the first block is stored in response to the first predicted outcome being taken. In response to the first branch instruction being not taken, the branch predictor is restarted based on the remainder block. In some cases, entries corresponding to second blocks along speculative paths from the first block are accessed using an address of the first block as an index into a branch prediction structure. Outcomes of branch instructions in the second blocks are concurrently predicted using a corresponding set of instances of branch conditional logic and the predicted outcomes are used in combination with the remainder block to restart the branch predictor in response to mispredictions.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2018Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.Inventors: Marius Evers, Douglas Williams, Ashok T. Patent number: 12204928Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing network experience shifting, and, in particular embodiments, using either a roaming or portable hypervisor associated with a user or a local hypervisor unassociated with the user. In some embodiments, a network node in a first network might receive, via a first network access device in a second network, a request from a user device to establish roaming network access, and might authenticate a user associated with the user device, the user being unassociated with the first network access device. Based on a determination that the user is authorized to access data, content, profiles, and/or software applications that are accessible via a second network access device, the network node might establish a secure private connection through a hypervisor or container communicatively coupled to the first network access device to provide the user with access to her data, content, profiles, and/or software applications.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2023Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: CenturyLink Intellectual Property LLCInventors: Charles I.
