  • Publication number: 20240262880
Abstract: The disclosure features fusion proteins that are conditionally active variants of a cytokine of interest. In one aspect, the full-length polypeptides of the invention have reduced or minimal cytokine-receptor activating activity even though they contain a functional cytokine polypeptide. Upon activation, e.g., by cleavage of a linker that joins a blocking moiety, e.g. a steric blocking polypeptide, in sequence to the active cytokine, the cytokine can bind its receptor and effect signaling. Typically, the fusion proteins further comprise an in vivo half-life extension element, which may be cleaved from the cytokine in the tumor microenvironment.

  • Publication number: 20240261500
Abstract: An infusion pump includes a multi-tabbed graphical user interface (GUI) that guides the user to the next tab to select during programming of the infusion pump. The GUI includes tabs that correspond to categories of parameters for entry (e.g., patient information, drug information, infusion information). As the data is entered, the operator selects the tabs (moving from left to right) and enters required parameters until all required parameters have been entered. Due to the number of items presented under a particular tab, it may not be readily apparent to the operator when the operator has entered all required parameters and can move on to the next tab. Accordingly, the GUI presents an indicator (e.g., small triangle) on or adjacent the next tab as soon as the required fields are completed, which guides the operator and speeds up programming when the required fields constitute less than the total number of fields.
