    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include instrumentation and methods for treatment of a spinal structure or other orthopedic structures. An elongate member including a deformable distal portion having an initial configuration for placement within a spinal structure or other orthopedic structures, and a deformed configuration wherein the distal portion is outwardly deformed is provided. The elongated member may be used to access the interior of the spinal structure or other orthopedic structures and to manipulate tissue within the structure.
