Abstract: Tamperproof closures for use on a container are disclosed. The closure includes a base which can be arranged on a container port and can be connected thereto in a fluid-tight manner as well as a closure part connected to the base via a predetermined breaking point. Each of the base and the closure part includes at least one force-enhancing means by which a movement of the base and the closure part relative to each other can be force-assisted in terms of destruction of the predetermined breaking point. The movement of the base and the closure part relative to each other can be a rotary movement of the closure part with respect to the base in the opening direction of the closure part and each force-enhancing means can be a handle in the form of a lever projecting radially from both the base and the closure part with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotary movement.

Abstract: Devices for preparing a liquid solution are disclosed. The device includes a receptacle defining a cavity for receiving at least one active substance to be dissolved, at least one inlet leading into the cavity for feeding at least one solvent into the cavity, and at least one outlet leading out of the cavity for discharging the liquid solution including the at least one active substance and the at least one solvent from the cavity. The cavity or the receptacle may include a flexible outer shell for enclosing the cavity and an inner, preferably columnar, supporting element for stretching the flexible outer shell between at least two points, the supporting element comprising the at least one inlet at its first end and the at least one outlet at its second end and being enclosed by the flexible outer shell to provide an axially rigid cartridge that can be used in currently customary dialysis machines comprising cartridge connection systems, which can be produced at low cost.

Abstract: A water level control system for use with bath tubs includes a capacitive proximity switch disposed external to one wall of the bath tub. The vertical position of the switch is adjustable. The switch generates a signal when the water level is approximately that of the switch. The signal is used to control a water supply solenoid and/or an alarm indication.

Abstract: A valve cartridge which is particularly suited for replacing valve assemblies of the type utilizing axially movable valve cones, includes a valve disk arrangement. The cartridge housing includes an upper portion adapted to extend above a valve housing and a lower portion adapted to extend into the valve housing. The upper portion contains a valve seat disk and a valve regulating disk. The valve seat disk has a centrally located inflow aperture and a plurality of outflow apertures positioned diametrically outward of the inflow aperture. The lower portion of the cartridge includes a central inflow pipe adapted to engage the fluid inflow passage of the valve housing and is in communication with the inflow aperture of the valve seat disk. The lower portion further includes an outflow pipe concentric with and of shorter length then the inflow pipe. The outflow pipe is in fluid communication with the outflow apertures and the outlet of the valve body.

Abstract: A change valve for sanitary engineering to select either a bath tub or shower head for discharge of water includes a telescoping connection between a valve actuating device and a valve element to achieve reliable operation in the presence of low water pressures.
