Abstract: A foot rest unit is removably secured to the base of a styling chair to support a foot of a hairdresser. The unit is vertically adjustable and consists of a circumferential ring of one or more segments. Each segment is supported by upwardly and outwardly-extending legs having tongues removably anchored under the chair base. A sleeve at the top of the leg engages the ring segment and is adjustable to retain the segment in place.
