  • Patent number: 11961601
Abstract: To assist a user in the correct performance of an activity, video data is acquired. A pose of the user is determined from the video data and an avatar is generated representing the user in the pose. The pose of the user is compared to one or more other poses representing correct performance of the activity to determine one or more differences that may represent errors by the user. Depending on the activity that is being performed, some errors may be presented to the user during performance of the activity, while other errors may be presented after performance of the activity has ceased. To present an indication of an error, a specific body part or other portion of the avatar that corresponds to a difference between the user's pose and a correct pose may be presented along with an instruction regarding correct performance of the activity.

  • Patent number: 10966553
Abstract: A system and method for a blanket that is convertible into a pillow by a series of folds where the body of the blanket is eventually positioned inside of a pocket positioned at the ends of the top side and bottom side of the blanket such that the pillow remains intact until the user removes the remainder of the blanket from the pocket and unfolds the blanket.

  • Patent number: 9618233
Abstract: A method for determining whether a water heater appliance is operating on a timer switch is provided. The method includes determining a power on time interval between a previous power interruption and a current power interruption if the current power interruption is a long power outage and establishing that the water heater appliance is not operating with a timer switch if the power on time interval is greater than a threshold time interval. A related water heater appliance is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20170011456
Abstract: The “extinguishment” process and system as described herein may enable creditors, including original creditors and debt buyers, to systemically use a file containing information on multiple consumer accounts to create account-level documents along with free online consumer access to those documents, to confirm the final resolution or settlement of one or more consumer debt accounts. The automated process may protect consumers by providing account-specific evidence that can be used to demonstrate to parties such as debt collectors, creditors, credit reporting agencies or courts that a debt has been fully satisfied, e.g., paid in full, settled in full, or cancelled.

  • Publication number: 20160328791
Abstract: A system and method for universal electronic consumer debt validation and dispute resolution permits consumers to access debt information and download related documents related to debt accounts for any type of debt. Moreover, debt owners or agencies may make available debt information for a consumer in a single repository so that a consumer may search and/or evaluate and download the information and initiate resolution of the debt as may be warranted.

  • Publication number: 20100037834
Abstract: The invention relates to an animal cover, particularly for use with a cow. The animal cover is adapted to be attached to an animal by fitting around the animal's neck at a first end and by attaching to the animal's tail via a tail ring attached to the cover. The position of the tail ring relative to the cover is adjustable so that the cover can be adjusted to suit animals of different sizes.

  • Patent number: 7408556
Abstract: An improved system and method for using a device-dependent font in a graphical display interface is provided. A font resource may be included among components provided for executable software code such as an application to display and edit text using a device-dependent font without having to install the device driver having the device-resident font metrics. In specific, a font resource that may include device-independent font information for code points that are not supported by a device-resident font and device-dependent font information for code points that are supported by a device-resident font. In one embodiment, the font resource may be a device composite font file having both device metrics for code points supported by a named device and device-independent information for code points unsupported by the device.

  • Patent number: 6897879
Abstract: Hardware acceleration of the rending and animation of characters that treat each pixel sub-component as a distinct luminance intensity source. A bit-map representation of the sub-component-oriented character is generated by using a single image sample to generate each pixel sub-component. This may be accomplished by, for example overscaling a representation of the character, placing the overscaled representation of the character on grid, and then assigning a luminance and possibly a transparency value to each grid position based on the property of the overscaled character at the grid position. The, the character is rendered by interfacing with a hardware graphic unit that perform the final rendering and animation of the character.
