  • Publication number: 20210104170
Abstract: A method of developing and managing a training program that includes displaying a parameter selection window, receiving a selection of values of parameters to define a first training program, wherein the values of the parameters are rated on a first challenge level scale, determining a predicted performance level of a learner taking the first training program, the predicted performance level determined based on actual performance data of the learner and rated on a second challenge level scale, comparing the predicted performance level to a desired outcome, displaying results of the comparison if a difference between the predicted performance level and the desired outcome is greater than a threshold, receiving an adjustment to the values of the parameters to define a second training program, wherein the second training program has a different challenge level relative to the first training program, and administering the second training program to the learner.

  • Publication number: 20210105604
Abstract: In order to establish a mesh network, an electronic device may iteratively identify one or more mesh-network nodes and may determine associated duty-cycle ratios based on communication with the one or more mesh-network nodes. In particular, the electronic device may select candidate mesh-network nodes based on estimated throughput metrics of their communication with a root device in the mesh network. Then, for each of the candidate mesh-network nodes, the electronic device may associate with a given candidate mesh-network node, and may measure the throughput of the given candidate mesh-network node during a time interval by communicating packets. Based on comparisons of the measured throughputs, the electronic device may identify the one or more mesh-network nodes in the candidate mesh-network nodes and may determine the associated duty-cycle ratios. Subsequently, the electronic device communicates information with the root device via the one or more mesh-network nodes based on the duty-cycle ratios.

  • Publication number: 20210105296
Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing cybersecurity risk of a computer network include the use of a risk model application that is configured to determine an initial cyber risk score value based upon an underwriting process. A cyber risk data stream is sent from the client's computer network to the system processor to periodically calculate an updated cyber risk score based upon actual data. The system processor is adapted to use the data stream to generate client information that is accessible by the client via a web-based client portal. In embodiments, the cyber risk data stream can be actively monitored to identify a threat of a cybersecurity breach.

  • Publication number: 20210105211
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of distributing netflow records is disclosed. The method includes receiving a plurality of netflow records, each netflow record associated with a hash tag. The hash tag may include, for example, a random M-bit pattern of bits. The method filters the plurality of netflow records over a first hash tag range in response to the hash tag value and storing the first filtered netflow records in a first queue associated with a first netflow collector; filters the plurality of netflow records over a second hash tag range in response to the hash tag value and storing the second filtered netflow records in a second queue associated with a second netflow collector, wherein the second hash tag range differs from the first hash tag range; sends the first filtered netflow records from the first queue to the first netflow collector; and sends the second filtered netflow records from the second queue to the second netflow collector.

  • Publication number: 20210101010
Abstract: The spinal cord stimulation device of this invention is configured for implantation into a patient so as to traverse the dura mater that surrounds the spinal cord. Placing the device in this location provides direct contact between the electrode and the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), in close proximity to the spinal cord. The device has an intradural portion and an extradural portion that compresses and seals the dural membrane between them, securing the device in position and preventing leakage of CSF. The position of the device may be stabilized in relation to the spinal cord by way of a laminoplasty plate, bridging between the device and a vertebra. The device is electronically powered by an implanted pulse generator that produces a spectrum of signals to interrupt or otherwise attenuate transmission of pain mediating neural signals through the spinal cord.

  • Patent number: 10973034
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with multiple control resource sets (CORESETs) for control channel monitoring. In some cases (e.g., based on a random access (RACH) procedure), the base station may update a CORESET with an updated downlink beam and, correspondingly, an updated active quasi-co-location (QCL) assumption for monitoring. In some cases, this updated active QCL assumption may cause the total number of active QCL assumptions to exceed a UE threshold value for monitoring. The UE may determine a priority order for monitoring the CORESETs, where the CORESET corresponding to the updated active QCL is assigned highest priority and the remaining CORESETs are prioritized based on CORESET or search space parameters, and the UE may either drop CORESETs from monitoring or modify active QCL assumptions for CORESETs based on the determined priority order.

  • Patent number: 10966800
Abstract: Two-piece bilateral illumination attachment for dental camera is a light source that is reversibly attachable to any dental camera. Two-piece bilateral illumination attachment for dental camera has two light sources that directly face each other. When properly attached to a dental camera, two-piece bilateral illumination attachment for dental camera effectuates sub-enamel illumination or bilateral illumination of a tooth, so that the dental camera may capture a photo or image of the illuminated tooth. Two-piece bilateral illumination attachment for dental camera has a specially shaped body that makes a slip-fit, press-fit, or snap-fit onto the exterior surface of any dental camera. Two-piece bilateral illumination attachment for dental camera has a distal section and a proximal section. The distal section is reversibly attachable to the proximal section. The distal section is sterilizeable.
