  • Patent number: 12267625
Abstract: Systems and methods presented herein generally provide for the compensation of asset providers and/or communications network providers for the non-consumption of assets provided with programming. In this regard, when users elect not to consume the assets associated with the programming, the asset provider loses the opportunity to present their assets to such non-consuming users and is thereby injured in relation to the price they have paid for the delivery of their assets. In one arrangement, a reporting module at a customer device is operative to identify when a user skips an asset and report that skip event to the network. This information may then be utilized to adjust the bill of the asset provider and/or to bill the user associated with the skip event.

  • Patent number: 12265583
Abstract: A system for determining relevant information based on user interactions may include a processor configured to receive data and associated relevance information from a data source and a set of signals describing a current environment of a user or historical user behavior information in which the data source being local to a computing device. The processor may be further configured to provide, using a machine learning model, a relevance score for each of multiple data items based at least in part on the received relevance information and the set of signals. The processor may be further configured to sort the data items based on a ranking of each relevance score for each data item. The processor may be further configured to provide, as output, the multiple data items based at least in part on the ranking.

  • Publication number: 20250100109
Abstract: A torque tool for welding regulator gages includes a wrench body, a retention pin, and a tab. The wrench body is configured with a handle and a wrench-head. The handle is externally and laterally connected to the wrench-head as torque is applied through the handle. The wrench-head is engaged with the inlet fitting of the welding regulator gage so that the gage can be removed from or attached to the gas cylinder. The tab is perpendicularly positioned to the handle and externally connected to the wrench-head. The retention pin is slidably engaged within the tab as the retention pin accurately gages insertion depth of the wrench-head around the inlet fitting of the gage and retains the wrench-head around the inlet fitting of the gage.

  • Publication number: 20250100046
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for an event detection system that captures data associated with events while a DC casting system forms an ingot, determines characteristics of the events, and improves the casting system based on the events. Example systems and methods may include initiating a casting operation using one or more pieces of equipment of a casting system including a casting apparatus; capturing sensor data associated with one or more acoustic signals captured relative to the one or more pieces of equipment performing the casting operation; comparing the sensor data with a set of acoustic profiles; determining whether a particular type of event has occurred; causing an adjustment to the casting system or to the casting operation based on whether the particular type of event has occurred; and initiating a second casting operation using the adjusted casting system or casting operation.

  • Publication number: 20250104090
Abstract: Implementations described herein provide systems, methods, and devices for greenhouse gas monitoring and control. The systems, methods, and devices include a device detection system which identifies device identifier(s) corresponding to device(s) associated with a user. The device(s) include at least one of an electric vehicle, a home device, a power system device, or a power system device. Upon detecting the device(s), a user behavior analyzer receives energy consumption-related data from the device(s) resulting from energy consumption behavior of the user. The system determines, based on the energy consumption-related data, one or more behavior metrics of the user. A reduction integration generator identifies an energy consumption reduction integration corresponding to the one or more behavior metrics (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20250103389
Abstract: A system and corresponding method queue work within a virtualized scheduler based on in-unit accounting (IUA) of in-unit entries (IUEs). The system comprises an IUA resource and arbiter. The IUA resource stores, in association with an IUA identifier, an IUA count and threshold. The IUA count represents a global count of work-queue entries (WQEs) that are associated with the IUA identifier and occupy respective IUEs of an IUE resource. The IUA threshold limits the global count. The arbiter retrieves the IUA count and threshold from the IUA resource based on the IUA identifier and controls, as a function of the IUA count and threshold, whether a given WQE from a given scheduling group, assigned to the IUA identifier, is moved into the IUE resource to be queued for scheduling. The IUA count and threshold prevent group(s) assigned to the IUA identifier from using more than an allocated amount of IUEs.

  • Publication number: 20250104510
Abstract: A method includes receiving, from a plurality of first compute devices, a group wager to produce a plurality of group wagers, each group wager having (1) a wager amount that is defined at that first compute device and (2) a condition that is based on an outcome of a game that is played by a user of a second compute device that is not included in the plurality of first compute devices. The plurality of group wagers is provided as input to a bin packing model to identify a subset of group wagers. In response to executing the game to determine a winning settlement, an electronic payment amount is sent to a first compute device that is from the plurality of first compute devices and that is associated with that group wager, the electronic payment amount being based on the wager amount of that group wager.

  • Publication number: 20250101974
Abstract: A drive circuit for a plurality of piezo-actuated hydraulic pumps for an aircraft, and a hydraulic pump system implementing the same. The drive circuit includes a voltage boost stage that receives a DC input supply voltage and delivers an increased DC output voltage to a high voltage, HV, link point; a plurality of inverter stages coupled in parallel at the HV link point that receive DC voltage from the HV link point and generate an oscillating output voltage for driving a respective piezo-actuated pump; and a control system that controls the output voltage and phase of the inverter stages to drive the plurality of piezo-actuated pumps out of phase. The control system measures the power consumption of each piezo-actuated pump and regulates the output voltage of at least one of the inverter stages to balance the power consumption of each piezo-actuated pump.

  • Publication number: 20250103268
Abstract: A computing system comprises one or more processors, memory, a first housing that includes a primary display, and a second housing at least partially containing a physical keyboard and a touch-sensitive secondary display that is distinct from the primary display. The computing system displays a first user interface on the primary display, the first user interface includes one or more user interface elements. The computing system identifies, from the one or more user interface elements, an active user interface element that is in focus on the primary display. The computer system, in accordance with a determination that the active user interface element that is in focus on the primary display is associated with the application executed by the computing system, displays, on the touch-sensitive secondary display, a second user interface that includes a first set of one or more affordances corresponding to the application.

  • Publication number: 20250101843
Abstract: A blender tub for hydraulic fracturing operations and associated components are provided. A spinning proppant distributor located above the blender tub liquid level interrupts and redirects falling granular proppant material (e.g. sand) into the tub. A fluid intake channel wraps around at least part of the blender tub outside wall and introduces liquid (e.g. water) into the blender tub via a plurality of channels. The liquid is introduced with a force and angle which imparts a vortex within the blender tub. The above aspects facilitate blending of material within the tub.

  • Publication number: 20250101860
Abstract: Data from a well survey includes information on wellbore depth in combination with inclination and azimuth or bending moment taken at measured depth intervals with sufficient short spans to detect micro doglegs in a wellbore over lengths less than, for example, thirty meters. A conversion quantifies micro dogleg severity detected for expression in units of degrees per standardized set length. The converted quantification may also be used in circle-based equations to determine maximum tool length or width for passing tools through the wellbore due to the micro doglegs. Disposing the tool in the wellbore may occur at a location identified to accommodate the tool.
