  • Patent number: 12076915
Abstract: According to one aspect, there is provided a method of selectively solidifying successive layers of build material in a 3D printing system. The method comprises obtaining data relating to a 3D object to be generated, forming a layer of build material on a build platform, applying to the formed layer a pattern of fusing agent corresponding to a portion of the layer to be solidified to form a layer of the object, applying to the formed layer a pattern of anti-caking agent on portions of the formed layer that are not to be solidified to form a layer of the object, and applying energy to the whole of the formed layer to cause portions of the layer on which fusing agent was applied to heat up, melt, coalesce, and then solidify upon cooling, and to cause portions of the formed layer on which anti-caking agent was applied to control caking of build material in those portions.

  • Publication number: 20240290479
Abstract: Healthcare asset units are enabled to accomplish a healthcare facility management objective by first preparing the asset units in a pre-processing phase by using a computational processor to determine a first unique identifier for each asset unit. The prepared asset units are then transported in a removal phase to a manufacturer location, retrofit in a manufacturing phase at the manufacturer location by applying manufacturing processes to implement the durable information identifier on each asset unit, and by using a computational processor to determine a second unique identifier for each asset unit. The prepared asset units are then transported in a return phase, from the manufacturer location to a healthcare facility where the retrofitted asset units are subsequently used to accomplish a healthcare facility management objective.

  • Publication number: 20240290481
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to management of therapeutic digital assets in a non-medical environment. In an illustrative example, non-medical digital asset(s) (NMDAs) may be evaluated relative to one or more therapeutic modalities. A corresponding therapeutic digital asset (TDA) may, for example, be generated for each therapeutically associated NMDA. The TDA may, for example, be traceably associated with corresponding risks and/or risk mitigations. Each TDA may be associated, for example, with a test profile corresponding to a risk and/or risk mitigation. A TDA may be released into a non-medical digital content delivery environment (DCDE), for example. The TDA may, for example, be monitored in the DCDE to maintain verification and/or validation (VV). A change in the DCDE affecting VV of the TDA may, for example, result in deactivation of the TDA in the DCDE. Various embodiments may advantageously permit VV of selected digital assets in a non-medical environment.
