  • Publication number: 20250111742
Abstract: Systems and methods train, using training data, a prediction model by iteratively predicting a target variable value of a churn-based event associated with an online video game application by identifying an error between a prediction and the target variable value and modifying weights of the prediction model for multiple iterations, the training data includes information obtained from the online video game application and a partner computer application. The partner computer application stores resource data of real-world resources that are stored to a real-world location, and the information includes specific data from a duration of gameplay via the online video game application, a quantity of instances of gameplay, and a quantity of resource transactions of the virtual resource. The prediction model is deployed and applied to user data of users to predict the churn-based event, where user data is restricted by history date for a predefined number of days.

  • Publication number: 20250108307
Abstract: Systems and methods extract raw user data of users of an online video game application (OVGA) and append raw user data to a dataset. Data object(s) of the dataset are segmented into, and attribute(s) are derived from field(s) of the dataset, and the attribute(s) include a time between initiation of user engagement with the OVGA and user disengagement with the OVGA by the users. Missing data is imputed with substitute values, and entity extraction is performed using natural language processing to extract specific data that is then classified and stored to a relational database. The relational database is versioned to generate versioned data, and a target variable value is inserted into an iterative training and testing loop to train a prediction model using the versioned data, where the training is based on adjusting weights and iterative calculations to predict the a date of a churn-based event.

  • Publication number: 20250111134
Abstract: Disclosed are novel approaches to debugging a formula in a spreadsheet environment. An execution trace shows step-by-step how a formula is evaluated. Instead of overwhelming users by displaying a step for every atomic evaluation, multiple evaluations are displayed in the same step. This makes the execution trace compact yet intuitive, enabling users to quickly and efficiently understand how the formula is evaluated. Visualizing formula execution in this way also reduces the computing and energy costs of excess recalculations incurred by trial-and-error based debugging techniques.

  • Publication number: 20250110047
Abstract: A method for characterizing gas emissions includes measuring first and second optical beams to generate first and second absorption signals, respectively. Each of the optical beams is transmitted from a center point and retroreflected back to the center point. Paths of the optical beams define boundaries of a sector. Based on the absorption signals, an emission rate of a gas from within the sector is determined. If the emission rate exceeds a threshold, a third optical beam is measured to generate a third absorption signal. The third optical beam is transmitted from the center point and retroreflected back to the center point. The third optical beam propagates along a path that divides the sector into first and second subsectors. Based on the first, second, and third absorption signals, a location of a source of the gas is identified as being within the first subsector or the second subsector.

  • Publication number: 20250111135
Abstract: Disclosed is a range preview system that displays data from a relevant range of cells. The range preview system intelligently elides and contextualizes data ranges for efficient visualization. The range preview system optimizes space utilization by selectively collapsing rows and columns. For example, rows and columns that are referenced by a formula may be selected for inclusion in the range preview. This conserves screen real estate while providing users with a concise overview of data ranges. The range preview system may also infer labels, providing context during formula interpretation by associating references with nearby headers or other descriptions.

  • Patent number: 12267625
Abstract: Systems and methods presented herein generally provide for the compensation of asset providers and/or communications network providers for the non-consumption of assets provided with programming. In this regard, when users elect not to consume the assets associated with the programming, the asset provider loses the opportunity to present their assets to such non-consuming users and is thereby injured in relation to the price they have paid for the delivery of their assets. In one arrangement, a reporting module at a customer device is operative to identify when a user skips an asset and report that skip event to the network. This information may then be utilized to adjust the bill of the asset provider and/or to bill the user associated with the skip event.

  • Patent number: 12266048
Abstract: Technologies for transitioning between two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) display views for video conferencing are described herein. Video conferencing applications can have multiple display views for a user participating in a video conference. In certain situations a user may want to transition from a 2D display view of the video conference to a more immersive 3D display view. These transitions can be visually jarring and create an uncomfortable user experience. The transition from a 2D display view to a 3D display view can be improved by executing the transition to a 3D display view by manipulating visual properties of a virtual camera that is employed to generate the display views.
