Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems and methods for reducing the number of interrupts on a controller for a non-volatile storage device to improve data transfer performance of the storage system. The embodiments described herein selectively enable an interrupt generated by host transfer hardware for a host command. The interrupt can be enabled or disabled by considering the command type, availability of interface resources to accept additional host transfers, and the command size. Embodiments described herein are useful for host interfaces implementing a tagging scheme for host transfers with a limited range of identification tags.

Abstract: A computer implemented method and system is provided for clarifying electronic communication between an originator and a recipient. The originator declares characteristics of an originating message by specifying intent and linguistic type of communication using an application software provided on an originator communication device. The originator transmits the originating message to the recipient via a communication network. The application software on the recipient communication device recognizes the properties and declared characteristics for classification and categorization of the transmitted originating message. The application software determines requirement of a first response message as a reply to the transmitted originating message and generates response message templates that declare characteristics of the first response message based on the categorization.

Abstract: Suspension concentrate compositions are disclosed for delivering S-(+)-Abscisic acid either alone or in combination with a second plant growth regulator to crop seed prior to planting as well as for foliar, soil drench, in-furrow and sprench (foliar spray and soil drench) applications are disclosed. The compositions, when properly combined in an aqueous carrier and processed through wet milling to achieve the desired particle size, will result in stable compositions that are desirable for treating crop seeds.

Abstract: A system for providing information to a viewer of a visual content presentation creates a scene database that includes details about many potential scenes planned for a visual content presentation. At least one scene in the scene database is shot then, after shooting scenes and prior to the editing process, the database is updated to reflect actual details used during shooting. The visual content presentation is then edited. After editing the visual content presentation, the database is updated to identify scenes that were actually used in the visual content presentation, and the order in which those scenes appear is specified. A request for details is received from the viewer about at least one aspect of a scene actually used in the visual content presentation, and details are transmitted to the viewer about a requested aspect of the scene actually used in the visual content presentation.

Abstract: A garment with carrying pouch and support system comprising, in general, a garment such as a tee shirt, a pouch integrated into the back of the garment having a downward opening, adjustable shoulder and waist straps affixed to the pouch to shift weight from the neck area to the shoulders and waist, a smooth liner covering the interior of the pouch to ease insertion of the device therein, and a stiffener to maintain the pouch in the shape of the device, and, thus such garment, functions as a hands-free, removeably secure device retention, storage and support system.

Abstract: A data quality analysis and management system includes a data quality testing module to perform data quality tests on received data and determine data quality statistics from the execution of the data quality tests. The system also includes a data quality analysis and management engine to determine data quality cost metrics including cost of setup, cost of execution, internal data cost, and external data cost, and calculate a cost of data quality from the data quality cost metrics, and a reporting module to generate a data quality scorecard including statistics determined from execution of the data quality tests by the data quality testing module and the cost of data quality determined by the data quality analysis and management engine.

Abstract: The operating system of a computer maintains an extension catalog that stores data relating extensions with information about the contracts the extensions support. Extensions are registered in this catalog according to the contract they implement. The extension catalog can be queried to identify extensions that support a given contract. An extension can be selected from among the results from a query, and the selected extension can be activated. When activated, the extension is set up by the operating system as an independent process from, and with context from, the application for which it is an extension. Information about the extension is provided to the application to enable the extension and the application to communicate according to the supported contract.

Abstract: Disclosed is a vaccine that includes a dendritic cell loaded with a yeast vehicle and antigen. Also disclosed are methods of making the vaccine and using the vaccine to elicit cellular and humoral immune responses in a mammal. Additionally, a method to elicit an immune response by administration of a yeast vehicle and an antigen that is not complexed to the yeast vehicle is disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure relate to tissue digestion and, more particularly, to methods and apparatuses for varying the number, size, and/or location of one or more tissue compartments within a digestive fluid vessel. Some examples include partitions that may be selectively positioned within a vessel (and may be selectively removable from the vessel) to create one or more tissue compartments. The partitions may be positioned, repositioned and rearranged within the vessel to form one or more tissue compartments. The partitions may be solid or include apertures, and may be oriented in horizontally and/or vertically. Alternate embodiments include one or more selectively closeable apertures that permit digestive fluid to circulate along alternate pathways, which can permit tissue digestion with reduced digestive fluid levels. Still further embodiments include baskets that are selectively positionable within the tissue digester.

A single-phase draw solution comprising at least one of an aminium salt, an amidinium salt, and a guanidinium salt is provided to a second side of the membrane. The at least one solvent is osmosed across the membrane and into the single-phase draw solution to form a diluted single-phase draw solution. At least one of CO2, CS2, and COS is removed from the diluted single-phase draw solution to form a first multiple-phase solution comprising a first liquid phase comprising the at least one solvent, and a second liquid phase comprising at least one of an amine compound, an amidine compound, and a guanidine compound. A liquid purification system is also described.

Abstract: A controller for a video game is disclosed. The controller may be a generally U-shaped steering wheel including a pair of hand grips attached to and extending from a base connector. The ends of the hand grips may be angled downward. The design of the hand grips together with the downwardly extending ends provides for an ergonomic design of the controller with easy access to controls on the hand grips whether the controller is grasped with a pronated or supinated hand positions.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for generating a data hierarchy for ordering a collection of data values and tracking a consumption pattern for each of the data values. In one embodiment, a data service generates a data hierarchy according to a plurality of attributes associated with each of the data values, where the data service determines a classification system for generating the hierarchy based on the attributes. The data service may receive a request for accessing a subset of the complete collection of data values. In response, the data service may generate a data profile that includes the subset of requested data values and provides the data profile to the requesting service. The data service may then determine a consumption profile that describes how the requesting service consumes the subset of data values in the data profile and associate the consumption profile with the consumed data values.

Abstract: A system and method for implementing functionality within a network on behalf of first and second devices communicating with each other through the network. A front-end device is provided within the network that communicates data traffic with the first device. A back-end device is also implemented within the network and communicates data traffic with the second device. A communication channel couples the front-end device and the back-end device. Data traffic may be encoded into a different type or protocol for transport through the communication channel by the front-end device and back-end device. The front-end device and back-end device exchange quality of service information and may alter characteristics of the data traffic through the communication channel according to the quality of service information.

A second power combiner is operable to combine the first combined amplifier output with an output of the first amplifier at a second power combining node to form a second combined amplifier output. An impedance transformer is operable to transform a load impedance of the amplifier circuit to a transformed impedance at the second power combining node, the transformed impedance matching an impedance of the first and second power combiners.
