  • Publication number: 20100115986
Abstract: An intelligent digital control apparatus for wine temperature includes a tub (10), a semiconductor cooling/heating device (20), a temperature sensing device (30) and a digital control panel (40). When the wine bottle is put in the tub (10), the semiconductor cooling/heating device (20) is activated to start cooling if the setting temperature is higher than the wine temperature. The semiconductor cooling/heating device (20) begins warming when the wine temperature decreases below the setting temperature. When the wine bottle is put in the tub (10), the semiconductor cooling/heating device (20) is activated to start heating if the setting temperature is lower than the wine temperature. The semiconductor cooling/heating device (20) begins warming when the wine temperature increases over the setting temperature.

  • Publication number: 20050177321
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for online health condition monitoring of rotary machinery such as printing presses. The rotary machines have one or more stages and each stage has one or more rotary components. The method comprises the steps of: receiving one or more signals from sensors at each of the rotary units or bearing housings; generating an error matrix and diagnosing rotation synchronization errors among the different stages; generating error matrices using different signal processing techniques and diagnosing the health conditions of rotary components such as gears, bearings and shafts; and identifying the stages and rotary components having imperfections by comparing the current error matrices to stored reference error matrices. The present invention can also be used in other applications involving rotational components such as automobiles, airplanes, and power turbines to name a few.

  • Patent number: 6863454
Abstract: A combination of a camera body with a lens, shutter and shutter operating control with an attachable, removeable film cartridge having an unexposed film spool region and an exposed film spool region and a bridging portion between those regions. An opening in the cartridge permits light from the lens to pass through the opening to the film at the bridging portion. A door closes the opening of the cartridge and the door is openable with the cartridge installed in or attached to the camera body. Cooperating elements on the camera body and the cartridge open the door or close the door with the door being openable when the cartridge is fully engaged with the camera body. There is a detented connection of the film cartridge in the camera body.
