Abstract: A lighting fixture includes a housing formed from walls that are connected by corner posts that are inserted into the ends of the walls eliminate light leaks and external fasteners. The corner posts include barbs or screw holes for receiving screws from the inside of the walls. The housing can be used as a retrofit for a recessed lighting fixture where the housing can surround the lighting fixture and attach thereto. The assembly can then be mounted by a suitable support.

Abstract: A low profile linear high bay fluorescent luminaire with a downwardly facing and room side accessible ballast channel. The lighting fixture includes a housing assembly having a longitudinal axis with a first reflector located on a first side of the longitudinal axis. A second reflector is located on a second side of the longitudinal axis. The first and second reflectors are spaced apart with at least one ballast therebetween. At least one ballast is coupled to the housing assembly and extends downwardly from the housing assembly. A cover for the ballast is located below the ballast. The lighting fixture also includes a means for releasably coupling the cover to the housing assembly. The lighting fixture can be suspended from a ceiling or joist in a number of ways including mounting brackets, wire hangers, and ceiling assemblies, and can have an occupancy sensor attached thereto.

Abstract: A lighting assembly is provided having a main housing and retaining member hinged to the main housing. The housing has an open end with a channel for receiving and supporting a lens, diffuser and/or grate. The retaining member is hinged to close the open end of the housing and prevent removal of the lens, diffuser and grate. The retaining member is coupled to the housing by pivot pins that are received in elongated slots in the side of the housing. The retaining member is pulled away from the housing where the pivot pins slide to an outward end of the slot and then pivot in an upward or downward direction to allow removal of the lens, diffuser and grate.

Abstract: A lighting assembly is provided having a main housing and a lens assembly hinged to the main housing. The lens assembly has a body with end walls with a recess in an upper end of the end walls. The recess in each end wall has a dimension to receive and support a lens for directing light to the target area. The lens has a length greater than the length of the cover so that the ends of the lens extend beyond the outer edge of the end walls of the cover. Stop members are provided on the end walls to limit longitudinal movements of the lens with respect to the body of the lens assembly. A reflector extends from a bottom edge of the cover to an upper edge overlying a portion of the lens. A spring clip is provided to couple the lens to the reflector.

Abstract: A lighting assembly is provided having a main housing and retaining member such as a door hinged to the main housing. The housing has an open end with a channel for receiving and supporting a lens, diffuser and/or grate which slides into the housing to close the bottom side of the housing and enclose the lamps and electrical components. The retaining member is hinged to close the open end of the housing and prevent removal of the lens, diffuser and grate. The retaining member is coupled to the housing by pivot pins that are received in elongated slots in the side of the housing. The retaining member is pulled away from the housing where the pivot pins slide to an outward end of the slot. The retaining member can then pivot in an upward or downward direction without interfering with the housing to allow removal of the lens, diffuser and grate so the lamps can be replaced and the electrical components can be serviced.

Abstract: A lighting fixture that includes an elongated housing supporting at least one lamp and including a wall and an opening opposite the wall. The wall includes a first tongue formed therein. A first suspension cable is coupled with the housing. The suspension cable includes opposite first and second ends. The first end of the suspension cable has a loop engaging the first tongue of the wall of the housing and the second end of the suspension cable is adapted to engage a support to suspend the housing from the support.

Abstract: A lighting fixture is provided having an easily and efficiently installable and removable louver assembly. The lighting fixture has a housing that has a first wall and a second wall and an opening between the first and second walls. At least one spring latch is connected to the housing. A louver assembly has a plurality of louver blades. A first end of the plurality of louver blades is attached to a first arm and a second end of the plurality of louver blades is attached to a second arm. The first arm is connected to the first housing wall and the second arm is secured between the second housing wall and the at least one spring latch.
