  • Patent number: 7331256
Abstract: A pedal has a control device (2) including a mobile pedal (6), elements for returning (20, 22) the control device returning the pedal (6) in its idle position as well as a force-feedback mechanism (4) to produce a hard spot when the pedal (6) is depressed. The force-feedback mechanism (4) includes an electric motor (28) designed to act on the control device (2), via one-way linking elements (36) and gear reduction elements, in the same direction as the return elements (20, 22). The one-way link prevents any action of the force-feedback mechanism (4) on the control device (3) in the direction opposite to the direction of action of the return elements (20, 22) The one-way link advantageously includes a clearance which enables the electric motor (28) to rotate in the direction allowing it to act on the control device (2) without acting immediately on the device.

    Assignee: Siemens Vdo Automotive
Inventors: Pierre-Yves Allard, Michel Collet, Gerard Mouaici, Wim Teulings
  • Patent number: 7318361
Abstract: The thrust return mechanism (4) is intended for a thrust return pedal. It includes an electric motor (28) for the positioning of a control member (30) by the intermediary of transmission elements. The transmission elements include at least one cable (48, 52) of which one end is fixed to a first pulley (42, 54) and which is then wound around a second pulley (40, 50) and of which the second end is fixed on the first pulley (42, 54).

  • Patent number: 7256574
Abstract: A magnetic field generated by a primary winding (1) in which the current (i1) to be measured flows is balanced by a magnetic field of opposing direction generated by a secondary winding (2) in which a compensating current (i2) flows. The device includes a member (3) sensitive to the field resulting from the addition of the magnetic fields of opposing directions to regulate the compensating current (i2) in closed loop mode. According to the invention, the, sensitive member (3) is sensitive only to the direction of the resultant field and, in return, controls the reversal of the direction of circulation of the compensating current (i2) in the secondary winding (2). This sensitive member (3) can be formed by a Hall effect probe with bipolar output signal. The device is suitable for the measurement of a current inautomotive electronics.

Abstract: This thrust return mechanism (4) is intended for a thrust return pedal. It comprises an electric motor (28) for the positioning of a control member (30) by the intermediary of transmission means. The transmission means comprise at least one cable (48, 52) of which one end is fixed to a first pulley (42, 54) and which is then wound around a second pulley (40, 50) and of which the second end is fixed on the first pulley (42, 54). Application to an accelerator pedal of a motor vehicle.
