  • Patent number: 6971034
Abstract: When a processor in a computer system is placed in a low power mode, power consumption of the computer system may be further reduced by reducing power consumption of one or more components of a memory coupled to the processor and by reducing power consumption of one or more components of a controller device coupled to the memory. The processor and the controller device may share the memory.

  • Patent number: 6836850
Abstract: Portable system arrangements having dual high-level-/low-level-processor modes implemented with a high-level processor and a low level processor. The two processors afford the combined advantages of both a portable computer and a personal organizer. The portable computer can be constructed such that the apparatus can be powered into a first mode of operation which provides functions/operations similar to the portable computer running high-level programs on the high-level processor, and the apparatus can be powered into a second mode of operation which provides functions/operations similar to the personal organizer running low-level programs on the low-level processor. The two processors can share memory and other peripherals.
