  • Patent number: 7566293
Abstract: A device for recirculating oil from the end face of the barrel and the peripheral surface of the roll neck of rolling mill rolls. A sealing race arranged between the bearing elements and the end face of the barrel is mounted on the roll neck. A first conical ring body has a conical outer surface and a cylindrical inner surface that is seated on the outer surface of the sealing race and is sealed from the race, whereby inclination of the conical outer surface towards the end face runs towards the roll axis. A second conical ring body is rigidly mounted in the bearing housing and has a conical inner surface, which conical inner surface is arranged some distance opposite the conical surface of the first conical ring body, such that the two conical surfaces form a hydraulic pump gap that conveys oil away from the end face.

  • Publication number: 20060193544
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for recirculating oil from the side surface (ST) of the rolling elements (WB) and the peripheral surface of the journal (WZ) of rolling mill rollers (W) located in the bearing of a bearing built-in piece (LES), wherein a sealing ring (DLR) arranged between the bearing elements and the side surface (ST) of the body of a roll (WB) is mounted on the journal (WZ). A first conical ring body (KRK1) with an outer conical surface, which is sealed against said ring body with an inner cylindrical surface, is seated on the outer surface of the sealing ring (DLR), the inclination of said conical surface extending from the side of the rolling elements (ST) in the direction of the axis of the roll (x-x). A second conical ring body (KRK2) fixedly arranged in the bearing casing with an inner conical surface which is spaced opposite the conical surface of the first conical ring body (KRK1), forms therewith a hydraulic pump gap (PS) delivering oil from the side of the rolling elements (ST).

  • Patent number: 7044418
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for winding/unwinding metal strips, in particular for steel bands, comprising a mandrel (4) mounted mobile in rotation in a bearing (4a), and serves to provide means for pivoting, seizing, centering and suppoting the mandrel (4) of the winding/unwinding device. Therefor, the invention is characterized in that the bearing of the mandrel (4) is enclosed, on the outer ring (6) of the bearing, in an annular slot (7), and said outer ring (6) can be centered by means of a fixing element (8) capable of being closed inwards when the mandrel (4) is inserted, or can be freely mobile inside said annular slot (7) when the fixing elements (8) are returned outwards.
