  • Patent number: 7277780
Abstract: A method for controlling the outputting of messages in an information system of a motor vehicle, the messages being assigned priorities, there is provision for the sequence, the time and, if appropriate, also the method (visual, audible, tactile) of the outputting of the messages to depend on the priority of the respective message and on criteria which are formed from information received from the information system.

  • Publication number: 20070121313
Abstract: The cockpit module of a vehicle has a cup holder which has an opening for receiving a drinking vessel, and an illumination device for illuminating the cup holder. The cockpit module also has a printed circuit board on which the illumination device is arranged. A motion sensor is preferably provided which recognizes an object approaching the opening of the cup holder and the state of occupation of the cup holder, so that the illumination device can be controlled in a definable manner as a function of the occupation and if an object approaches.

  • Patent number: 6986687
Abstract: In an instrument panel (18) for a motor vehicle having a carrier (19), electrical leads (24) are stretched between contact pins (22, 23) of an electronic component (21) and/or a plug part (20). The contact pins (22, 23) are pressed into the carrier (19). This makes mounting the electrical leads (24) on the instrument panel (18) particularly easy.

  • Patent number: 6726557
Abstract: A vehicle (1) having a sound-radiating element (10) for emitting sound waves into a passenger compartment (2) and having an air duct (6) for the air conditioning of the passenger compartment (2), the air duct (6) having an air duct inner wall (7) facing the passenger compartment (2). To reduce the installation space for the sound-radiating element and to simplify the assembly, the sound-radiating element (10) has the air duct inner wall (7) and an oscillation exciter (9) arranged on the air duct inner wall (7), for exciting oscillation of the air duct inner wall (7).
