  • Publication number: 20220055493
Abstract: A wheel stopper device includes a housing which is configured to be placed on a ground surface and to be approached and/or driven over by a motor vehicle non-destructively, a communication module which is configured to receive control data from an external unit, a lighting element which is disposed in or on the housing and is configured to emit light which is visible in an environment of the wheel stopper device, and a control unit which is configured to operate the lighting element on a basis of the control data.

  • Patent number: 9419681
Abstract: An electrical device is provided for a power line system for data transmission, including at least one line of a power supply network, at least one signal line, and a coupling region wherein the at least one line of the power supply network and the at least one signal line are partially arranged. The at least one line of the power supply network and the at least one signal line are electrically isolated from each other and capacitively coupled to each other in the coupling region. A motor vehicle is equipped with the power line system for data transmission.

  • Patent number: 5726647
Abstract: In a method for avoiding a collision of a motor vehicle and an obstacle, in which the output signal of a ranging device with several scanning beams emitted in a fan shape toward the front, is received by a receiver and analyzed by an analysis unit connected thereto, the transmitting frequency for scanning beams on the inside of the curve is selected to be higher than for scanning beams on the outside of the curve.

  • Patent number: 5477461
Abstract: In a method for avoiding a collision of a motor vehicle with an obstacle, in which the output signal from a distance measuring device with a plurality of scanning beams emitted fanwise in and beside the motion path of the motor vehicle is fed to an evaluation unit, the output signal from a steering angle sensor is additionally fed to the evaluation unit. The motion path of the motor vehicle is calculated in the evaluation unit and the obstacle is evaluated in terms of the motion path of the motor vehicle. The obstacle is taken into account only if it enters the motion path of the motor vehicle.
