  • Patent number: 11814196
Abstract: A pressure-tight storage vessel contains a liquid, has an elongated main body rotationally symmetrical with respect to an axis of symmetry, and forms, at least partially, a rotationally symmetrical hollow space in which the liquid is substantially received, wherein the main body is terminated at its bottom side by a base. Furthermore, at its top side, the storage vessel has an opening which is closed off in a pressure-tight manner by a closure, has a plurality of reinforcement elements, which bears against the main body at the outside, which extends parallel to the axis of symmetry of the main body, and arranged rotationally symmetrically about the axis of symmetry of the main body. In each case between adjacent reinforcement elements, respective externally exposed wall sections of the main body are formed, and the composition of the exposed wall sections permits a pressure-tight insertion by at least two hollow needles.

  • Patent number: 11305289
Abstract: A method is useful for automated detection of antibodies in a liquid biological sample with an antigen chip having antigen spots which are applied thereon and which have an identical, common dye. The antigen spots form respective antigen spot sets which form corresponding respective, regular antigen spot patterns. Furthermore, reference spots comprising the identical dye are applied, and form a reference spot set which forms a regular reference pattern. The reference pattern differs with respect to its regularity from the antigen spot patterns. Through a first image information item which represents a color of the reference spots and of the antigen spots due to the identical, first dye and through a second image information item which represents a potential color of the antigen spots due to a second dye after an incubation, binding of antibodies of the biological sample to respective antigen types is then determined by image processing.

Abstract: A sample support has an absorbent membrane layer which is based on a nonwoven polyolefin and which has at least one take-up region with dried blood constituents. It moreover has a film layer based on a plastic, where the film layer has received antistatic pretreatment. The membrane layer and the film layer have been connected to one another mechanically in one subregion of the sample support. but the layers have moreover not been connected to one another mechanically in the take-up region. It is preferable that, when the sample support is placed onto a uniformly level surface the membrane layer covers the film layer at least in the take-up region.

  • Publication number: 20200003763
Abstract: A method is for producing biological material-coated solid-phase fragments. The method first provides a biological material-coated solid-phase support in a fragmented state and the biological material-coated solid-phase fragment adhered to a film. Then, a tensile stress is generated on the film, which is then contacted with a lifting head to pre-detach the biological material-coated solid-phase fragment from the film. The fragment is then taken off from the film. A device for producing the biological material-coated solid-phase fragment includes a tensile-stress unit, a lifting-head unit and a removal unit.
