  • Patent number: 10980470
Abstract: The present invention discloses an allergy detection chip, a preparation method thereof, and a method for detecting allergy therewith. The allergy detection chip comprises a substrate; a plurality of nanoprojections, disposed on a surface of the substrate; a plurality of gold nanoparticles, disposed on the surface of the substrate comprising the nanoprojections; a plurality of linkers, attached to the surface of each of the gold nanoparticles at one end respectively; and a plurality of antibodies, having a carboxyl end of a heavy chain covalently bonded to the other end of each of the linkers respectively. By means of the allergy detection chip disclosed in the present invention, whether a patient has high risk of allergy can be quickly detected, so as to reduce the risks faced by the patients and the healthcare personnel.

  • Publication number: 20070133201
Abstract: A flashlight senses when it is picked up, and then automatically turns on. When the flashlight is released or set back down, it automatically turns off. Touch or contact sensors sense the touch of a human hand, causing a circuit in the flashlight to switch on a light source, such as an LED. The flashlight is advantageously designed so that when grasped or picked up, the fingers of the user's hand lay over touch sensors. Various types of touch sensors may be used. The touch sensors may operate electrically, and without any movement, or moving parts.

  • Publication number: 20060073044
Abstract: A solar circulator and converter which is driven by a solar generator; the fan or impeller is mounted in an impeller housing. On the surface opposite the impeller housing is a solar panel with mounting elements which can be affixed or mounted on such things as car windows. The impeller or fan blows and circulates air inside the car whether the car is stationery or in motion. The circulator also converts part of the solar radiation into forms of energy other than heat and thereby reduces temperature.

  • Patent number: 6928215
Abstract: Optical circuits are disclosed having a source waveguide, a first tap waveguide and a second tap waveguide. Optical power is transferred via evanescent coupling from the source waveguide to the first tap waveguide and from the first tap waveguide to the second tap waveguide such that power loss is minimized. Also disclosed are methods for fabricating optical integrated circuits.

  • Publication number: 20020159702
Abstract: This relates generally to optical waveguide-based devices including dynamically programmable optical attenuators. In particular, this provides an optical attenuator having a Mach Zehnder configuration with reduced polarization dependence. The devices herein facilitate the implementation of continuously-variable optical attenuators, optical shutters, and optical switches in an integrated photonic circuit.
