Abstract: Organoid culture and image-processing methods and systems are described. Such methods and systems provide the ability for high-throughput characterization of a variety of phenotypes at single-organoid resolution.

Abstract: A machine readable storage media containing executable program instructions which when executed cause a digital processing system to set a plurality of operands and operators. A plurality of texture maps are sent to a processor for texture compositing. Operands are selected for a texture operation. A first logic is used wherein if the circulation of blend stages is equal to a number of blend stages, then a color saturation is performed, and a second logic that if the circulation number of blend stages does not equal the number of blend stages then at least one operand is selected for another texture compositing operation.

Abstract: A foam delivery system for delivering firefighting foam solution to a firefighting bucket that is suspended by at least one cable from a helicopter. A firefighting foam solution is carried aboard the helicopter in one or more foam storage containers. The foam delivery system facilitates the delivery of the foam solution to the bucket and facilitates the mixture of the delivered foam solution with the water, the resultant mixture being effective in fighting fires, in one embodiment, more effective than the use of water alone. The foam solution is delivered from the cabin to the firefighting bucket through a hose. The hose includes a container segment and a bucket segment, the two segments detachably coupled together by an automatic release coupling system.

Abstract: An adamantane functionalized magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent has been synthesized, and shows high liver specificity, prolonged retention time in both the liver and kidneys, the highest relaxivity among clinical contrast agents, high water solubility, thermodynamic stability, signal intensity enhancement, hepatocellular uptake, and low osmolality and toxicity.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for depositing gold alloys are disclosed. The compositions include certain dithiocarboxylic acids, salts and esters thereof and mercapto group containing compounds which provide bright gold alloy deposits with uniform color.

Abstract: A polymer-based optical waveguide amplifier comprises a polymer host material doped with rare earth ions wherein the polymer host material is a material that functions as a resist in a direct patterning technique. The polymer host material can be epoxy novalac resin doped with Er3+ ions and Yb3+ ions, and the direct patterning comprises electron beam direct writing or UV printing.
