Abstract: A transmission line for conveying a radio frequency (RF) signal between a first terminal and a second terminal. The transmission line comprises an inner conductor, a middle conductor and an outer conductor. The inner conductor comprises a length of conductive material having a first end for electrical connection with the first terminal and a second end for electrical connection with the second terminal. The middle conductor surrounds at least a part of the length of the inner conductor and is electrically connected to the electrical ground of the source. The outer conductor surrounds at least a part of the length of the middle conductor and is electrically connected to the electrical ground of the load.

Abstract: There is provided an electrodeless plasma lamp and confinement member for an electrodeless plasma lamp. The lamp comprises a lamp body with an input coupling element, with one end coupled to an RF source and the other end coupled to a first ground potential. An output coupling element is received substantially within the lamp body and spaced apart from the input coupling element and from the top of the lamp body, wherein one end of the output coupling element is coupled to a second ground potential and the other end of the output coupling element at the top of the lamp body is coupled to a gas filled vessel. An electromagnetic confinement member extends away from the lamp body and surrounds it for reducing emission of electromagnetic waves below a predetermined threshold frequency, and includes a plurality of apertures formed therein.

Abstract: Examples include an inductor assembly and an apparatus comprising and a transistor amplifier and an impedance matching network. The impedance matching network comprises a circuit board, an inductance block and a screw. The inductance block has a first leg mounted on a first contact plate of the circuit board and a second leg mounted on a second contact plate of the circuit board. The screw is screwable into the inductance block such that a threaded portion of the screw engages with threaded portions of the first leg and the second leg to form a conductive path connecting the first contact plate with the second contact plate. The length of the conductive path and a value of the inductance of the conductive path are adjustable by adjusting a height of the screw within the inductance block.

Abstract: An expandable clothes frame includes a pair of laterally disposed end support assemblies for engagement with a ground surface, two longitudinally disposed foldable assemblies each extending between and hingedly engaged with each of the end support assemblies, wherein each foldable assembly is provided in two portions having relative movement therebetween to allow folding of each foldable assembly about a fold axis between the pair of end support assemblies, a linkage assembly extending longitudinally between the foldable assemblies, and a locking assembly for securing the two portions of at least one of the foldable assemblies relative to each other so as to secure the frame in the extended configuration. Upon the frame being urged towards an extended configuration the engageable and cooperative portions are urged towards each other and engage so as to secure the two portions relative to each other and maintain the frame in the extended configuration.
