Abstract: A system and method according to which dental care is provided to a young child or infant using a baby dental chair, a floss dispenser, and/or a dental care apparatus. The baby dental chair is specifically designed for the needs of a young child or an infant during a dental examination. The baby dental chair includes a tower base, a seat, and a plurality of wheels. At least one wheel of the plurality of wheels has two configurations: a wheel locked configuration to prevent the baby dental chair from moving and a wheel released configuration to enable the baby dental chair to move. The baby dental chair provides a safe and secure place to examine the teeth of young children or infants during a dental examination.

Abstract: A dental care apparatus including a head and a handle. The head includes a brush, a massager, and a guard. The brush and the massager extend from opposing side portions of the head. The massager includes a base and a plurality of projections extending from the base to stimulate oral tissue. The base is adapted to change in shape to conform to an interior surface of a mouth. The guard extends along a perimeter of the head to prevent, or at least reduce, traumatic contact with oral tissue. The handle includes an eating utensil and a cleaner. The eating utensil and the cleaner extend from opposing side portions of the handle. The eating utensil includes a reflective surface to facilitate visual inspection of an oral cavity and a bumper rim extending along a perimeter of the handle to circumferentially encase the reflective surface. The cleaner includes a plurality of projections.

The closure engages the case when the case is in the closed configuration to thereby secure the case in the closed configuration. The first half-shell may be divided into first and second compartments by a first divider wall. The first divider wall may include first and second notches formed therein and configured to accommodate a toothbrush and a toothpaste container, respectively. The second half-shell may be divided into third and fourth compartments by a second divider wall. When the case is in the closed configuration, the first compartment may be contiguous with at least part of the third compartment, and the second compartment may be contiguous with at least part of the third and fourth compartments.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to an automatic, touchless dental floss dispenser that comprises a housing with a front cover, a sensing mechanism for detecting of an object adjacent the front cover without the object contacting the front cover, a dispensing mechanism for dispensing a predetermined length of floss, and a cutting mechanism for automatically severing the dental floss at measured lengths to ensure proper use and minimize waste of dental floss.
