Abstract: Techniques for previewing and presenting content of different applications in a user interface are described. In an example, a computer system determines a presentation template defined for a page application. The page application is configured to present a page about a target application, and the page includes a preview area and a body area. The system receives a user selection of an icon in a menu, whereby the icon corresponds to the target application. The system then presents in the user interface contents based on data stored in local memory, whereby the contents are presented according to an arrangement specified by the presentation template for the preview area. The system then receives a user request for additional information about the target application, and subsequently presents at least a portion of the body area of the page based on an execution of the page application.

Abstract: A gaming server and method for generating context-aware gaming information are disclosed, which includes receipt of a view request from a first gaming device associated with a first user, by the gaming server. The view request includes a request to view a gaming profile of a second user. Based on the received view request, one or more circuits of the gaming server detects an entry point event from a plurality of defined entry point events to access the gaming profile of the second user. The one or more circuits are configured to generate context-aware gaming information of the second user based on the detected entry point event on the first gaming device. Further, a display of the generated context-aware gaming information within the gaming profile of the second user may be controlled on the first gaming device, based on the received view request.

Abstract: Various aspects of a gaming server and method are disclosed herein, which includes receipt of a request from a first electronic device of a plurality of electronic devices communicatively coupled to the gaming server. The received request may comprise a request to compare a gaming profile of a first user associated with the first electronic device with one or more other gaming profiles of one or more other users associated with one or more other electronic devices. A customized view is generated based on a parameter-to-parameter comparison. The criteria for the parameter-to-parameter comparison include a plurality of parameters that are dynamically updated based on gameplay activities of the first user on the first electronic device and the one or more other users on the one or more other electronic devices. Display of the generated customized view may be controlled on the first electronic device based on a defined setting.

The information processing server includes one or more circuits configured to enable viewing of a game, on a first electronic device associated with a first user, currently being played by one or more other users associated with one or more other electronic devices. The one or more circuits are further configured to enable direct joining of the game by the first electronic device for gameplay with the one or more other users associated with the one or more other electronic devices without requiring any input from the one or more other users associated with the one or more other electronic devices. The direct joining of the game may be enabled based on a request received from the first user by the first electronic device.
