Abstract: An apparatus for collecting a sample fluid includes a base part with sample well plate with cavity having plurality of holes fluidically connecting first side and second side of cavity. The cavity is configured to accommodate sample collection part of sample stick on first side of cavity. The base part has microfluidic plate configured to channelize flow of at least a part of sample fluid received via plurality of holes towards at least one sensor coupled to microfluidic plate; and plurality of electrical connectors connected to at least one sensor. Moreover, the apparatus has lid part coupled to base part, lid part having compressible region configured to receive first amount of external force thereon and exert pressure over sample collection part to enable flow of sample fluid towards at least one sensor.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for collecting a sample fluid including a hollow elongate body having a volume. The volume has a bottom and an inlet opposite to the bottom of the volume, wherein the volume of the hollow elongate body is configured to receive the sample fluid via the inlet. The apparatus further comprising at least one sensor, coupled to the hollow elongate body, wherein the at least one sensor has at least one opening for receiving at least a part of the sample fluid from the volume. The apparatus further comprising a plurality of electrical connectors, arranged with the hollow elongate body, connected to the at least one sensor.

Abstract: A communication circuit (10) and method updates an active link set list (50) in an asynchronous wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the communication circuit (10) may be a wireless device (600) or any other suitable communication device. The communication circuit (10) includes candidate reference link determination circuitry (30) to receive an active link set update message (60) and in response, to create the candidate list of reference links (20) from the active link set list (50). The candidate reference link determination circuitry (30) creates the candidate list of reference links based on, for example, an indication in the received active link set update message (60) to retain links from the active link set list (50).
