  • Patent number: 7597564
Abstract: A toollessly makable and breakable electrical connection between a current source, in particular a removable energy storage device, and an electrical consumer, has at least one contact pair comprised of two contact elements, one of which is connected to the current source and one of which is connected to the consumer. In order to reduce the transition impedance in the contact pair and to reduce the current-induced heating of the contact pair, at least one contact element has a multitude of individual small-area contact points that are electrically connected in parallel. For example, the multitude of contact points is implemented in the form of fibers composed of an electrically conductive material, which are combined in bristle brush or paintbrush fashion to form a fiber brush.
