  • Publication number: 20220307490
Abstract: A method monitors the state of a device having a first drive cylinder for receiving hydraulic fluid and a first drive piston which is movably arranged in the first drive cylinder. The method determines a speed of the first drive piston, establishes a difference between the determined speed of the first drive piston and an expected speed of the first drive piston, and determines a faulty state as a function of the difference established between the determined speed of the first drive piston and the expected speed of the first drive piston.

  • Publication number: 20220144221
Abstract: The invention relates to a concrete pump, comprising: —a frame; —a supporting leg, the supporting leg having a supporting foot, the supporting foot being extensible relative to the supporting leg; and—a drive for driving a movement of the supporting leg relative to the frame. A camera image of a hazard zone around the supporting leg is produced by a monitoring sensor. The drive is controlled by means of a remote control. The data information is transferred to the remote control via an interface. The invention also relates to a method for supporting a concrete pump. On the basis of the received data information, it can be determined, by means of the remote control, whether the movement of the supporting leg causes a hazard.

  • Patent number: 9068366
Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile work machine having a chassis (10) and with two front and two rear support brackets (20, 22). The support brackets can be displaced from a driving position close to the chassis into a support position by changing the base angles (?) thereof and/or can be telescoped by changing the lengths thereof between the end on the mounting side and that on the free end. In order to be able to automatically determine the support leg positions (Xc/Yc) in relation to the chassis (10), three transceiver units (S1/E1, S2/E2, S3/E3) related to the support legs are provided for transmitting and receiving run time or distance signals. Furthermore, a microprocessor-supported evaluation unit responding to the transmitted and received signals of the transceiver units arranged in pairs is provided, comprising a software routine for determining the support leg positions in a coordinate system (x/y) fixed to the chassis.

  • Patent number: 7611331
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling a two-cylinder thick matter pump comprising pistons that are actuated in a push-pull manner by means of a hydraulic reversible pump (6) and hydraulic drive cylinders controlled by said pump. To ensure a reliable operation of the pump the expected length of the stroke of the pistons (8, 8?) in the drive cylinders (5, 5?) is measured and recorded, the stroke time of each conveyance stroke is monitored and compared with the expected stroke duration, and the reversible pump (6) is respectively pivoted, reversing the flow, and/or the pipe switch (56) is reversed when the stroke time exceeds the expected stroke duration by a pre-determined value.

Abstract: A thick matter pump comprising a drive motor (50), a (reversible) hydraulic pump (6), and two hydraulic cylinders (5, 5?) coupled to conveyor cylinders (7, 7?) for conveying the thick matter. A regulator regulates the rotational speed N of the drive motor (50), and a regulating clement (18, 20) regulates the displacement volume V of the hydraulic pump (6). A control module (54) regulates the rotational speed N of the motor and the displacement volume V. For improved operational ease and reduction of fuel requirements, noise and waste gas emission, the control module (54) comprises a final control element (56) for regulating the conveyance capacity of the conveyor cylinders (7, 7?), and an electronic control unit (108) which reacts to the position of the final control element (56) and allocates a nominal value to the rotational speed regulator and to the displacement volume regulator (20), in a software-assisted manner.

  • Publication number: 20070196219
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling a two-cylinder thick matter pump comprising conveyance pistons that are actuated in a push-pull manner by means of a hydraulic reversible pump (6) and hydraulic drive cylinders controlled by said pump. For each pressure stroke, the conveyance cylinders (50, 50?) are connected to a conveyance conduit (58) by means of a pipe switch (56). At the end of each conveyance stroke in the conveyance cylinders (50, 50?), a reversal process of the pipe switch (56) and the reversible pump (6) is triggered. The aim of the invention is to ensure a reliable operation of the pump, even in the event of a breakdown of switching and pressure sensors (20, 22, 24).

  • Patent number: 6929454
Abstract: In a thick matter pump, especially for delivering concrete, comprising two delivery cylinders, it is known to provide two position sensors in one of the two cylinders for control of the pistons. However, leakage of hydraulic fluid can lead to an imbalance of the two cylinders. In the invention two position sensors (52?, 52?) are provided, which are arranged at a defined distance from one of the ends of the drive cylinders and which respond to a drive piston (30?, 30?) that is passing by. To prevent the formation of concrete clots inside the delivery cylinders (10) and to prevent the occurrence of a slamming when the drive pistons (30?, 30?) reach their end of travel, the invention provides that both position sensors (52?, 52?) are arranged at a distance from the piston rod-side ends of both drive cylinders (24?, 24?) and, in addition, a correcting sensor (54) is arranged at a defined distance from the piston head-side end of one of the drive cylinders (24?).
