  • Patent number: 5694398
Abstract: A network termination (NT) with a network interface (U.sub.KO), several subscriber interfaces (S.sub.O 1, S.sub.O 2), a control unit (CPU) and an internal bus (IBUS) is indicated for a telecommunications network. Information is transmitted on the network side in a frame structure by the time division multiplex method. The frame structure contains several useful information channels and one or more signaling channels. The control unit (CPU) assigns the useful information channels to the terminals in such a way, that each terminal has at least one channel available for the transmission of useful information. In addition, the network terminations (NT) of several subscribers are combined in the circuit of a network termination arrangement (NTE) outside of the subscribers' premises, and is jointly supplied by a voltage transformer (ACDC). A power supply that is independent of the telecommunications network supplies the voltage transformer (ACDC).

  • Patent number: 3971897
Abstract: Selective digital signal receiver wherein the time distances between zero crossings of the input voltage are measured with a counter. The zero-crossing counter is preceded by a circuit which, when a zero crossing occurs, is changed to the "on" state, resulting in a counting pulse for the counter, and remains in this state for a dwell time which is only little shorter than the signal-frequency half cycle. Thus, interference pulses can no longer invalidate the counting result of each signal-recognition operation.

  • Patent number: 3949177
Abstract: Selective digital signal receiver wherein the time distances between zero crossings of the input voltage are measured with a counter controlled at a clock frequency which is high compared with the signal frequency. The main check, covering a plurality of cycles and a predetermined bandwith, is always preceded by a pre-check, covering few cycles and a larger bandwidth. This allows early recognition of push-button dial signals.

  • Patent number: 3935395
Abstract: A selective digital signal receiver is disclosed in which the time distances between zero crossings of the input voltages are measured with a counter which is controlled at a clock frequency higher than the signal frequency. Each measurement covers a predetermined number of cycles. The greater the number of cycles chosen, the less the bandwidth must be widened for the zero-crossing shifts caused by noise.
