Abstract: An apparatus for the formation of a channel in a workpiece located at a first face of a base of the body of the apparatus, the channel formed by a drill assembly of the apparatus connected to drive means located on a second opposing side of the base, the drill assembly and drive means mounted so as to be movable in a guided manner with respect to the base. The movement is achieved by manual movement of a gripping means of an actuation means of the apparatus with respect to the base, so as to cause one or more flexible connecting members of the actuation means which are positioned intermediate the gripping means and drill assembly to move and advance the drill assembly towards the workpiece. The channel is formed in accurate manner which then allows the same to receive securing means typically to allow a joint between first and second workpieces to be accurately formed.

The storing structure includes a camera for picking up an image of a document and having a first lateral side, an extensible arm pivotally connected to the first lateral side of the camera for adjusting a distance between the camera and the document, a base having a second lateral side pivotally connected with the extensible arm for supporting the camera, a first pivot device connected to the first lateral side of the camera and the extensible arm for pivoting the camera, and a second pivot device connected to the extensible arm and the second lateral side of the base for pivoting the extensible arm to store the document camera.

Abstract: A hinge structure of an adjustable arm used in a document camera is provided, and the adjustable arm is capable of performing a pivotal movement on a base. The hinge structure includes a hinge device for articulating the adjustable arm and having an extended portion, a spacer mounted on the extended portion of the hinge device for providing a cushioning effect, a fastening device mounted on the hinge device for fastening the hinge device, and an elastic device mounted between the spacer and the fastening device for adjusting the hinge device, thereby compensating the pivotal movement of the adjustable arm.
