Publication number: 20220324157Abstract: In a method for producing helical coils, in particular for coil screens, a filament is conveyed in a filament conveying direction through a first channel portion of a first rotation body, and subsequently conveyed through a second channel portion of a second rotation body which rotates synchronously with the first rotation body. The filament is subsequently wound around a protruding winding mandrel, such that a helical coil is produced from the filament by a continuous feed of the windings of the filament wound around the winding mandrel. A heated heating fluid flows with an excess pressure through the first channel portion and the second channel portion, arranged downstream, and in the process heats the filament conveyed through the first channel portion and subsequently through the second channel portion. The filament emerging from the second channel portion is deformed, using a deformation apparatus, prior to winding onto the winding mandrel.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 25, 2020Publication date: October 13, 2022Applicant: Leo Feinwerktechnik GmbH & Co. Patent number: 9580092Abstract: A method for operating a rail vehicle in a railway system includes providing at least one optical waveguide which is laid next to at least one railway track and into which light pulses are fed, using the optical waveguide as a distributed acoustic sensor, and detecting backscattered light. In order to configure such a method in such a way that it meets stringent safety requirements relatively easily, a rail vehicle is used having a sound generator which can be adjusted in terms of its frequency spectrum in such a way that it indicates an emergency. When the sound generator is activated, an emergency signal of the rail vehicle is acquired if a frequency spectrum which corresponds to the adjusted emergency frequency spectrum of the sound generator is detected in the backscattered light. A railway system is also provided.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2013Date of Patent: February 28, 2017Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Gamze Arpaci, Wolfgang Bachmann, Doris Martitz, Karsten Rahn

Publication number: 20120280427Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing coils (9) with longitudinal sections (9a) and narrow deflection bends (9b) by winding wires (8) on winding mandrels (4) with complementary cross sections with the supply of heating energy and subsequent fixing by cooling. To attain the object to rule out the spring rebounds of the coils (9) at the points of narrowest radii of curvature as far as possible and to produce coils (9) with high precision with high efficiency, it is proposed according to the invention that the heating energy is brought to act on the coils (9) at least mainly in the region of the narrow deflection bends (9b). This can be carried out by the targeted application of heating gases or hot air, laser radiation, contact heating, plasma radiation and ultrasound.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2010Publication date: November 8, 2012Applicant: KARL MAYER TEXTILMASCHINENFABRIK GMBHInventors: Wolfgang Bachmann, Marcel Julien, Pascal Julien

Patent number: 8103024Abstract: A door leaf includes a stiff, light structural part that maintains fed-in vibrational energy and, by flexural waves, propagates this energy in at least one active surface perpendicular to its thickness to distribute resonance mode vibration components over at least one surface, which has specified, preferred locations or sites within it for transducer devices, which are affixed on the structural part at one of the locations or sites to set the structural part into vibration and to allow it to resonate, thus creating an acoustic radiator that delivers an acoustic output signal when it vibrates in resonance, the front and/or the rear cover panel of the door leaf being part of the stiff, light structural component. The transducer(s) is/are situated between the cover panels.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2006Date of Patent: January 24, 2012Assignee: Harman Becker Automotive Systems GmbHInventors: Wolfgang Bachmann, Gerhard Krump, Hans-Juergen Regl, Andreas Ziganki

Publication number: 20100287775Abstract: A method and a device for producing helical screens by winding wires made of plastic into individual spirals, which are inserted into each other in an overlapping way in the transversal direction on a working surface and are united parallel to each other into permeable sheet materials by fixing wires. In order to achieve the task to provide a method and a device with which screen belts with spirals and fixing wires can be produced with low personnel, energy and investments costs (equipment costs) and low amounts of waste with high precision and reproducibility with low time effort, the invention proposes for the spirals to be deposited on winding devices by means of moveable joining devices next to each other on the work surface after winding and to be engaged on said work surface by transverse displacements and connected to each other by the fixing wires.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2008Publication date: November 18, 2010Inventors: Wolfgang Bachmann, Marcel Julien, Pascal Julien

Patent number: 7236601Abstract: The invention relates to so-called panel loudspeakers (11) working according to the multiresonance principle. Said loudspeakers are generally formed by a core layer (13) and at least one outer layer (14.o, 14.u). The outer layers (14.o, 14.u) are connected to the core layer (13). A periphery is also provided (12) enclosing the panel loudspeaker (11) at a lateral distance (A). The panel loudspeaker is connected to the periphery (12) by means of connecting elements (17, 17?). Although good reproduction results can be obtained in the mid and high audio frequencies with the panel loudspeakers (11) described above, undesired large panel surfaces are known to be required for good low frequency reproduction. When such panel surfaces are not used, the lowest panel resonances ensuring bass reproduction are shifted towards the midfrequencies. Hence, the invention aims at providing a panel loudspeaker (11) exhibiting improved acoustic reproduction in the low frequency range despite a relatively smaller panel surface.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 1999Date of Patent: June 26, 2007Inventors: Wolfgang Bachmann, Gerhard Krump, Hans-Jürgen Regl, Andreas Ziganki
