Abstract: A machine washing process with process-controlled dosing of water and detergent using a paste-form, phosphate-reduced or phosphate-free detergent which is substantially free from water, organic solvents and hydrotropic compounds. The paste comprises a phase liquid at a temperature below 10.degree. C. and contains a nonionic surfactant selected from the group of polyglycolether compounds and of a solid phase dispersed therein in which the particles have a mean particle size of from 5 to 40 .mu.m and less than 5% of the particles have a particle size larger than 80 .mu.m, the solid phase comprising washing alkalis, sequestering compounds and other detergent constituents and, optionally, anionic surfactants. Under the control of a process-control computer, the paste is taken from a storage container, delivered to a mixer and diluted therein with water to at least such an extent that the formation of a gel phase is avoided.

Abstract: A process for producing a liquid fabric conditioner and the product thereof, comprising the steps of: dissolving maleic acid in prewarmed water; adding phosphoric acid; stirring the resulting solution while adding urea; and continuing stirring while adding at least one nonionic surfactant, to complete the process, and the product thereof.

Abstract: A fluid, two-component washing agent consisting of two components A and B, of which component A is an aqueous dispersion of fatty acids and component B is an alkaline solution, wherein component A is a cold-stable aqueous dispersion consisting essentially of:(a) from 15% to 35% by weight of substantially unsaturated fatty acids, mainly oleic acid,(b) from 2% to 6% by weight of potassium hydroxide and from 2% to 6% by weight of triethanolamine, where the total amount is so selected that at least 50% by weight of the fatty acids are present as potassium and triethanolamine soaps,(c) from 4% to 10% by weight of an ethoxylated primary alcohol having 5 to 12 oxyethylene units,(d) from 4% to 10% by weight of sodium C.sub.10-14 -alkylbenzenesulfonate,(e) from 0.05% to 1% by weight of at least one optical brightener,(f) from 5% to 15% by weight of at least one C.sub.1-3 -alcohol, and(g) from 35% to 50% by weight of water, and wherein component B is an alkaline solution containing alkaline potassium compounds.

Abstract: A fluid, two-component washing agent consisting of two-components, A and B, of which component A is an aqueous dispersion of fatty acids and component B is an alkaline solution, wherein component A is a cold-stable aqueous dispersion consisting essentially of(a) from 25% to 35% by weight of a substantially unsaturated fatty acids,(b) from 10% to 16% by weight of a potassium soap of the fatty acids of (a),(c) from 15% to 25% by weight of an ethoxylated primary alcohol having 5 to 12 oxyethylene units,(d) from 4% to 10% by weight of a sodium C.sub.10-14 alkylbenzenesulfonate,(e) from 0.05% to 1% by weight of at least one optical brightener,(f) from 1% to 5% by weight of at least one hydrotropic compound,(g) from 2% to 10% by weight of at least one C.sub.1-3 alcohol, and(h) from 15% to 30% by weight of water, and wherein component B is an alkaline solution containing alkaline potassium compounds.

Abstract: A clear, cold-stable liquid washing agent concentrate consisting essentially of:(A) from 22.5% to 35% by weight of a potassium soap of fatty acids having 12 to 18 carbon atoms and a melting point of below 55.degree. C.,(B) from 5% to 9% by weight of an ethoxylated primary alcohol having 5 to 10 oxyethylene units,(C) from 4% to 10% by weight of a sodium C.sub.10 -C.sub.14 alkylbenzenesulfonate,(D) from 0.05% to 1% by weight of at least one optical brightener,(E) from 0.1% to 5% by weight of potassium hydroxide.(F) from 0 to 6% by weight of triethanolamine,(G) from 8% to 20% by weight of at least one C.sub.1-3 alcohol, and(H) the remainder up to 100% of water, wherein the amount of water is at least 30% by weight and the concentration of the total of components (A) to (E) does not exceed 50% by weight of the concentrate.The washing agent concentrate can be employed in all type of washings of textiles in soft or hard waters, preferably in amounts of from 3 to 10 gm per kg of dry wash.
