    Abstract: A DC-DC converter circuit arrangement consisting of at least one multiphase DC-DC converter for transporting energy between two electrical systems. The arrangement may include several converter circuits whereby each features at least one first control element that can be regulated. A controller can produce several drive signals that have different phases. One switched mode operation of a converter circuit of the multiphase DC-DC converter can be controlled with each drive signal. The switched mode operation of each converter circuit of each subsequent multiphase DC-DC converter can be controlled by means of a drive signal, which can be produced by the controller. The controller is designed and equipped in such a way that it can enable or disable the energy transport by means of one of the multiphase DC-DC converter.

This housing (1) also has an insertion opening (2) with recesses (4) at an edge in an outer wall (3) of the housing for receiving a lamp base with radially projecting bayonet lugs (18) on the base, said lugs axially securing the lamp base (17) in the insertion opening (2) when the lamp base is turned into a locked rotational position. A box (9) is also provided on the housing (1) for a feeder plug (11) which provides an electric power supply. With such a device having an integrated igniting apparatus, mechanical locking is provided for the box arranged on the housing to prevent insertion of the feeder plug as long as a bayonet connection of a base of gas discharge lamp is not in the locked rotational position.

    Abstract: A power-supply apparatus, or ballast, for starting and operating a high-pressure gas discharge lamp is fed from a battery and has at least one current- and/or power-controlled voltage converter which is coupled to a high-pressure gas discharge lamp via an ignition device and to a current/power control device via input and output terminals. A comparator of the current/power control device produces a switching signal dependent upon a lamp voltage input signal, and a capacitor, dependent upon the switching signal, is charged with a circuit having a first time constant and discharged with a circuit having a second time constant. The charge voltage of the capacitor is applied to the output to determine the level and duration of additional power supplied to the high-pressure gas discharge lamp after ignition. When the power-supply apparatus is turned off, the capacitor is coupled to a second reference voltage source and is charged by means of the first time constant.
