  • Patent number: 8026681
Abstract: A method and device for electrically braking an electric drive in a machine for processing printing material, includes a power electronics connected between the electric drive and a DC voltage intermediate circuit. A further electric braking device is switchable between the electric drive and the power electronics. Upon a failure of a power system, a computer initiates a generator-type braking operation through the power electronics. The further electric braking device is switched on upon the failure of the power electronics.

  • Publication number: 20090220850
Abstract: A liquid-cooled battery, in particular in the form of an energy store for an electrical drive in a motor vehicle is provided. The battery has a plurality of storage cells 2 and at least one volume 4 which makes thermally conductive contact with the storage cells 2 and through which a cooling medium can flow. Each of the storage cells 2 has a safety valve 12 which opens the storage cell when a predetermined media pressure in it is exceeded, and connects the volume of the storage cell to the surrounding area. The safety valve 12 is arranged in the storage cell 2 and the storage cell 2 is arranged with respect to the volume 4 through which the cooling medium can flow such that a connection is produced between the volume 4 through which the cooling medium can flow, and the interior of the storage cell 2 if the safety valve 2 is operated.

  • Patent number: 6600664
Abstract: A housing of a switchgear cabinet for a printing machine, with housing elements formed of electrically conductive material having an electrically insulating surface layer, includes at least one door, one body and one electrically conductive elastic seal disposed therebetween, respective mutually allocated elements of the housing elements having corresponding electrically conductive contact locations at electrically conductive strip material connected to the conductive material of the housing elements; each of the contact locations being covered by a protective layer which is removable during assembly of the cabinet, for the purpose of electrically conductively connecting the housing elements and the seal.

  • Patent number: 6364712
Abstract: A filter device for at least one electrical line connectable externally to a housing includes at least one contact pin for connecting the externally connectable electrical line to a multilayer printed circuit board having at least one support layer and at least one conductor layer, the contact pin having a part thereof located at a side of the filter device and being affixed to the printed circuit board, at least one outer layer of the printed circuit board being formed as either a holohedral or a grid-shaped shielding layer, respectively, the shielding layer being in an electrically conductive contact-connection with the housing. A contact pin of a conductor path of the conductor layer conductable to the outside is connected to the printed circuit board, the contact pin being arranged without electrical connection to the shielding layer.
