  • Patent number: 11465794
Abstract: A packaging line implemented for packaging a pre-filled syringe is disclosed having a NSD mounting station, a PFS delivery arrangement adapted to automatically deliver a pre-filled syringe to the NSD mounting station, and a NSD delivery arrangement adapted to automatically deliver a needle safety device to the NSD mounting station. The NSD mounting station is arranged to automatically assemble the needle safety device to the pre-filled syringe. A NSD visual inspection station is adapted to automatically identify a pre-filled syringe with an unfit needle safety device and to automatically eliminate the identified pre-filled syringe from the packaging line. A re-insertion station is further provided to receive a pre-filled syringe with a needle safety device and to automatically feed the received pre-filled syringe, preferably from a rejected secondary packaging, back into the packaging line, after the NSD mounting station and before the NSD visual inspection station.

  • Publication number: 20220097879
Abstract: Sterilely enclosing a container by means of at least two caps by: gripping a first region of a container provided with a first cap in a first region by means of first tongs, by gripping and clamping the first cap; and sliding a second cap onto a second region of the container in such a way that one or more of: the second cap abuts the first cap, the second cap slips over the first cap, or the second cap is slipped over by the first cap; or the first cap and the second cap are connected by means of complementary screw threads, protrusions, cut-outs, or engagement elements; or a connection that provides sterile sealing-off from the outside of the first and second caps can be formed between the first and second caps, leaving a bridgeable distance between the first and second caps.

  • Patent number: 10897108
Abstract: The device for use in an explosive atmosphere zone has a device housing and at least one energy supply part that is provided with at least one battery or at least one rechargeable battery as well as energy-associated supply contacts. The energy-associated supply contacts interact with device-associated supply contacts when the energy supply part is connected to the device. The energy-associated and device-associated supply contacts have connected upstream thereof switches that, prior to separation of the energy supply part from the device, can be controlled by a circuit such that the switches deenergize the energy-associated and the device-associated supply contacts.
