Abstract: For optical waveguide connections that can be freely laid for transmitting optical signals, there is proposed, in accordance with the dimensions specified by the MOST Co-operation of the automobile manufacturers, a releasably formed optical plug-in connector for an modular connector system that comprises two casing parts that can be inserted in one another. In this connection, there is inserted in a casing a mounting part that receives optical waveguides provided with ferrules, wherein the ferrules of the optical waveguides are provided with a reference surface. A defined distance for an optimized signal transmission from the end face of the optical waveguides reaches by a stop of said reference surface when assembled with a reference surface of a counterplug.

Abstract: A multi-plug insert has a first part which provides a first number of contact inserts. A second part includes a second multiple number of connecting contacts relative to the first number. Each contact insert in the first part is permanently conductively connected to the multiple number of connecting contacts in the second part. The second part, between each two adjoining sets of multiple members of connecting contacts each permanently conductively connected to a contact insert in the first part is provided with an aperture into which it is possible to clamp a contact bridge. The contact bridge establishes a conducting connection between the two adjoining sets of multiple number of connecting contacts with all the connecting contacts remaining accessible.

Abstract: A plug connection for contact supports or contact holders which are constituted of an electrically insulating material, of which one is constructed hollow cylindrically-shaped and includes at least two longitudinal slots each provided with respectively one snap lock recess, and of which the second contact support is constructed so as to be guidedly insertable into the first one and which includes projections engaging into the longitudinal slots of the first contact support and which, in the final inserted position of the plug connection, lockingly engage into the associated snap lock recesses.
