  • Publication number: 20200361141
Abstract: A support system includes a base support to be secured in a process chamber of a production system, and includes at least one positioning element. A workpiece holder has upper and lower faces. The workpiece support has at least one first positioning device. The positioning element and the first positioning device form a pin/hole pair. A section of the pin has a first thermal expansion coefficient. A section of the hole controlling positional accuracy has a second thermal expansion coefficient. In a first alternative, the second thermal expansion coefficient is lower than the first, producing a clamping effect between the pin and hole upon temperature increase of the support system. Alternatively, the first thermal expansion coefficient is lower than the second, producing a clamping effect upon temperature increase of the support system. The invention additionally relates to a method for producing a workpiece.

  • Patent number: 10534869
Abstract: An anatomical implant application, such as a bone implant application for instance, can receive an anatomical image that is representative of an anatomical structure. The anatomical implant application can generate an implant image that is associated with the anatomical structure. The generated implant image can define an inner surface that faces the anatomical image. A plurality of distances can be determined from respective locations of the inner surface of the implant image to the anatomical image in respective straight lines. The distances may represent a superimposition of the implant image over the anatomical image. The distances may be compared to a tolerance. The inner surface may be repositioned so as to change at least the select one of the distances. An implant, such as a bone implant for instance, may be fabricated in accordance with data that is associated with the implant image.

  • Publication number: 20180318011
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing bone treatment means, with a first step in which original 3D data of a bone or of a bone portion of a specific patient to be treated are made available, wherein a site to be treated is present inside the bone or the bone portion, with a second step involving the use of 3D data of a reference patient who has been selected according to predefined criteria, wherein the 3D data correspond to the bone or to the bone portion with the site to be treated, and with a third and reconstructive step for supplementing or completing 3D data for the reconstruction of the site to be treated, wherein a mirroring step is used in which 3D data of the specific patient to be treated, which have their origin on a mirror-symmetrical other side of the patient, are superposed, specifically at a site corresponding to the bone or bone portion, in order to obtain the combined 3D data.

  • Patent number: 8047227
Abstract: The invention relates to a pressure limiting valve. The pressure limiting valve comprises a valve holder a valve insert connected to the valve holder a valve piston slidably supported in the valve insert and a compression spring acting on the valve piston in the closing direction. Between the valve piston and the compression spring an adjusting shim is disposed such that the compression spring is braced on one end on a bottom piece of the valve holder and on the other on a face of the adjusting shim facing away from the valve piston.
