    Abstract: In the embodiments described in the specification, a spark-ignited internal combustion engine has an exhaust line containing an oxide gas absorber for absorbing NOx and SOx and desorbing NOx and SOx at elevated temperatures. The support member for the oxide gas absorber is a metal foil or a thin walled ceramic support to permit rapid heating and is coated with a layer of a gas absorbing material at least 50 microns thick to permit longer intervals between regeneration, thereby providing effective storage of oxide gases even with fuel consumption-optimized engines.

    Abstract: A hinge with an adjusting device for adjusting the position of an elongated hinge arm which is mounted on a base plate and is connected to a hinge cup by means of articulated hinge links. The base plate has a mounting plane for abutting a furniture side wall in the mounted position and the position of the hinge arm is adjustable by the adjusting device in a plane perpendicular to said mounting plane. The adjusting device comprises two screws spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction of the hinge arm and being perpendicular to the mounting plane of the base plate. The screws are coupled to each other so that rotation of one screw will result in rotation of the other screw.

    Abstract: A securing apparatus (5) for the front panel (1) of a drawer. Securable to the front panel (1) are hook-type holding parts (6) which when the front panel (1) is mounted are suspendable in carrier parts (21) associated with the drawer side walls (2) and may be braced by these carrier parts. Provided on each side of the drawer is a housing (5') which may be secured by means of dowel (15) or the like to a side wall (2) of the drawer, preferably made of wood material, for example a chipboard, and this housing being mounted in a carrier part (21). Furthermore, a removable holding apparatus (50) for a draw-out rail (14), secured to the drawer, of a draw-out guide fitting is provided, with the draw-out rail (14) having at the rear a hook (40) by means of which it is suspendable in the drawer and having at the front an open horizontal slit (11) into which a laterally projecting holding peg (13) of the holding apparatus (50) projects.

    Abstract: A metering dispenser for a bulk material container, wherein the metering dispenser includes an adapter which is connected to the bulk material container. The adapter has an inlet opening which is in communication with a delivery conduit. A rotary slider having a metering chamber is rotatably mounted about a rotational axis which is disposed through the adapter and/or the delivery conduit. A tang is mounted on the rotary slider, eccentrically with respect to the rotational axis. The tang is used to engage the rotary slider between a first position wherein communication is open between the inlet opening and the metering chamber and wherein communication is closed between the metering chamber and the delivery conduit, and a second position wherein communication is closed between the inlet opening and the metering chamber and wherein communication is open between the metering chamber and the delivery conduit.

    Abstract: An apparatus for securing a front panel of a drawer to a respective side wall of the drawer includes a housing having an interior and to be mounted to a front end of the drawer side wall. A carrier member is mounted in the interior of the housing and has a U-shaped configuration including a horizontal web and spaced side flanges extending vertically therefrom. A latch member is supported by the carrier member for height displacement relative thereto and has a U-shaped configuration including a vertical web having spaced side flanges extending horizontally rearwardly therefrom. A holding member to be mounted on the drawer front panel has a hook portion to engage with the web of the latch member when the front panel is to be mounted on the drawer. A spring acts on the latch member to urge it upwardly relative to the carrier member and therefore into engagement with the holding member.

    Abstract: A baby bottle having a neck with a mouth, and a nipple with a horizontal flange, supported by an annular cap which is detachably connectable to the neck. The annular cap is a portion of a hollow cylinder having a radially inwardly oriented flange that presses and seals the flange of the nipple against a face end of the mouth. The annular cap is connected with a joint to an approximately fork-shaped retaining body. The retaining body is capable of being detachably snapped onto a circumferential annular groove of an outer wall of the neck. The retaining body has legs that extend over more than 180.degree. of a neck circumference of the neck. A first side of the annular cap which is diametrically opposite from the joint has a detent protrusion facing inward that is detachably connectable to a detent recess of the neck.
