    Abstract: The present invention relates to a container (1) made of plastic for the disposal of disposable medical utensils and devices after use. The container (1) comprises a closure (2) which is designed in such a way that the container (1) can be used as a packaging and transport container. To this end, the closure (2) is designed for two closed states which can be created successively, of which the first closed state is non-hermetic and permits the container to be opened, and of which the second closed state forms the hermetic, permanently closed state as required for the disposal of blood-soiled waste.
