  • Patent number: 6291639
Abstract: These invention relates to metal-complexing, cysteine-free peptides which may be coupled to an organ-specific probe directly or via a linker and are thus enriched as conjugates specifically in tumors, organs, tissues or centers of inflammation. The organ-specific probes used are, for example, antibodies or part-sequences of antibodies against tumor-associated antigens, e.g. the carcino-embryonal antigen (CEA, which are thus specifically enriched in tumors. The invention also relates to processes for producing the metal-complexing cysteine-free peptides and their conjugates. The present invention also relates to the use of the conjugates as components of a kit for in vivo diagnosis or in vivo therapy and radio-pharmaceuticals containing these conjugates together with radio-isotopes. The organ-specific conjugates are used to image tumors, organs or centers of inflammation.

  • Patent number: 5224387
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring fluid flow has a measuring device operating in accordance with the Coriolis principle. The measuring device has an oscillating conduit wherein the fluid to be measured flows through the conduit, and a sensor for sensing the movement of the conduit and generating output signals indicative of the movement. The measuring device generates a measurement signal based on the sensor signal indicative of the flow rate of fluid through the conduit. A counting device is coupled to the measuring device for receiving the measurement signal and calculating the flow rate of fluid through the conduit based on the measurement signal.

  • Patent number: 4510302
Abstract: Formulations containing pigments and/or delustrants, a solution of a pigment binder and, if appropriate, additives, characterized in that the pigment binder is a copolymer of, relative to the weight of the copolymer,10-40% by weight of an acrylic acid ester having 1-12 C atoms in the alcohol chain,10-40% by weight of a methacrylic acid ester having 1-4 C atoms in the alcohol chain,10-30% by weight of N-vinylpyrrolidone,5-15% by weight of acrylic acid and10-20% by weight of a vinyl ester having 1-4 C atoms in the acid chain, which have been prepared in an organic solvent which is miscible with water in the presence of a regulator and of a per-compound or an azo compound which donates free radicals at the polymerization temperature, and the use of these formulations for pigmenting and/or delustring dressing agents for leather and leather imitations.

  • Patent number: 4330597
Abstract: Advantages in the dressing of leather, especially of split leather, with a synthetic rubber latex are obtained if in the leather dressing, the rubber latex is reacted with from 0.5 to 50% by weight, based on solid rubber, of one or more oxides and/or hydroxides of one or more bivalent metals and the leather is treated with a non-polymerized rubber latex which is produced in a one-stage process up to a monomer conversion of from 70 to 95% by weight, by emulsion polymerization of:(A) from 1 to 10 parts by weight of one or more .alpha.,.beta.-monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids; and(B) from 90 to 99 parts by weight of a mixture of(a) from 10 to 90 parts by weight of butadiene and(b) from 10 to 90 parts by weight of styrene and/or acrylonitrile, wherein the quantity of acrylonitrile in the mixture amounts to a maximum of 50 parts by weight.
