The milling cutter having a milling head is mounted so as to be displaceable in a bushing which is coupled rotation-locking with the milling cutter in the direction of its axis of rotation. A circular knife edge is provided on the face of the bushing, so that the bushing forms a rotating punch, and the milling head can be pushed out of the plane of the face of the bushing.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device that is provided with a bone cutter to be fitted to medical, especially dental handpieces, for example angle pieces. Said cutter (1) is received with its cutter head (2) by a bushing (6) coupled to the cutter (1) so as to be rotated and so as to be displaced in the direction of its rotational axis. An arcuate knife edge is provided on the front face (7) of the bushing (6) so that the bushing forms a rotating punch, while the cutting head (2) can be extended from the plane of the front face (7) of the bushing (6).
