    Abstract: In order to achieve an improved monopulse difference pattern, a transition zone is created between the antiphase-excited halves of a phase-controlled antenna composed of a plurality of individual radiators, being created therein along a line of symmetry which separates the halves of the antenna and which comprises individual radiator strips, for example vertical columns or horizontal rows, extending next to one another and parallel to the line of symmetry, in which transition zone, extending from each edge up to the line of symmetry and the center of the transition zone, the number of individual radiators respectively excited antiphase increases in the same manner in comparison to the number of all individual radiators lying in a strip from 0% at each edge up to 50% at the line of symmetry.

    Abstract: A pulse radar device had pulsed storage devices which are arranged in the signal analysis component and comprise, in particular, shift registers. The clock frequency for the shift registers is derived from a reference frequency. Within the radar period duration, a first time zone is defined as the actual analysis zone and signal processing is carried out with the clock frequency predetermined by the requisite range resolution, and a second time zone is defined (dead zone) in which a different clock frequency is selected.

    Abstract: A pulse Doppler radar receiver has a moving curve transit time filter which provides a differentiating effect, whereby in order to avoid interferences due to overdriving ahead of the moving curve filter, the reception signals are limited temporarily, preferably with the help of an analog-digital converter, and specially produced auxiliary voltage values are inserted during the duration of limitation, as signal voltages, which are to be processed. The auxiliary voltage values are formed of the original signal path which is provided before limitation in such a way that, during limitation, the original voltage values are changed by an opposite voltage to such an extent that the remaining auxiliary voltage values do not cause overdriving, and the envelope of the original signal path is thereby maintained.

    Abstract: In the case of a calculating unit for serial multiplication of a binary multiplicand with a binary multiplier, the multiplicand is inserted into a shift register in serial form. The development of the product is achieved by suitably providing change-over switches at positions of the shift register conforming to binary ones of the multiplier. The product is filled with the sign digit to the required number of digits by the change-over switches which then connect the output with a sign register.

    Abstract: A method of digitally filtering signals with substantially differing signal levels, particularly in the processing of radio and radar signals, in which the level value of the relevant signal, at a predetermined point, is determined and compared with the maximum level value to be processed, a ratio value being formed from said two values, and if necessary, so altering the coefficient of at least one multiplication stage of the filter structure, in dependence upon such ratio, that at least a part of the individual filter units of the filter structure involved is fully loaded, and apparatus for practicing the method.
